Hi Marc & thanks for your comment! With the currently installed stem it's not possible to route the cabels internally. We are planning a further uprade to a Giant Contact SLR System. Ac ombined stem and handlebar with wich we will route the cables internally plus save a few gram :)

Hi there! Giant TCR is a great frameset - perfect for medium road rides, crit racing. Is it good for beginners? Depends on Your fitness - if You are flexible enough for rather aggressive bike geometry, it will be fine. Perfect size for 1.78 m would be 54-55 or M/L. Packaging - I guess You meant bikepacking? If so, the answer would be probably, but true bikepacking is gravel riding, so You'd have to stick to road if the frameset is for rim brakes.

@@NorkusMartynas the bianchi is Shimano 105 ( 1100 euros ) The cube attain gts sl 2021 with ultegra ( 1600 ) and the Giant Tcr advanced Shimano 105 ( 1000 euro )

@@morkeomorkei3540 I'd say whichever of those frames You're most comfortable on and which one is the most appealing visually to You. 105 and Ultegra not much of a difference just weight and looks. Also, that difference in price might be impacted by other components such as wheels, handlebars, seatpost, seat, etc. If I had to pick, I'd go with Ultegra and decent set of wheels

The frameset is the 2022 model from Giant, at that time not yet with fully integrated cable routing.

I am 189cm with 88cm insteam and I just bought a TCR Advance Pro Team, in size L. I returned to cycling after a decade and I am very unsure if I bought the right size. Is quite reassuring to read that he is 187😊 Great job on the build👏

Heyo, thanks for your question! As of now (and in the video) it's still the Vision Manillar Metron 4d Flat Mas Di2 440 Mm 31.8, but the plan is to change it to a GIANT Contact SLR System with a combined stem and handlebar.

In this video you can see the standard computer mount for SLR and SL OD2 Stems, made by Giant.

Faszinierend, wie etwa die Hälfte der Arbeitszeit nur für das Verlegen von Kabeln und Bremsleitungen draufgeht und das trotz des Fertig-Laufradsatzes und der einteiligen Vorbau/Lenker-Einheit. Anno Dunnemals hat das Einspeichen der Laufräder am längsten und das Verlegen der Brems- und Schaltzüge (ohne Schnitt und Zeitraffer) nur fünf Minuten gedauert. Wie wär's übrigens das nächste Mal mit einer Großaufnahme des fertigen Rads zum Schluss?

Carbon paste, used to increase friction between carbon equipment. With the increased friction you need a lot less torque to tighten the screws, decreasing the risk of putting to much stress on carbon components.

Rimbrakes will be weight 6.80..

forget the bike. Give me the shop setup with tools and a motorized stand ?? C'mon. I do all that with regular tools including running brake hoses and Di2 inside the bars - regular 3T carbon bars. Nice tho

That's super-light for current road bike designs. 8 kg is the norm in this price range at the time. Total integration, disc brakes and extremely wide tyres (+28 mm) do not contribute to weight reduction (or improving aerodynamics, either).

Il mio ha la possibilità di passare i cavi del di2 all’interno così esce solo il tubo per il freno anteriore e quello posteriore con un unico cavo per il di2 presi insieme da una termo restringente. L’ho cablata io così. Grazie della risposta 👍🏻

Yes, at the point of the video it was a Contact SL OD2, but since then Clemens has upgraded to a Giant Contact SLR Handlebar-Stem-Unit
