In an effort to curate my best life, I've been finding ways to surround myself with inspiration and this applies to my physical space as well. This past week, I broke my bed so after deciding to purchase a new one I thought it would be the perfect time to create my dream industrial style bedroom. Thank you so much! You should definitely try it! I wanted the limewash effect but since I live in an apartment, I didn't want to do the whole process. So this is essentially what is referred to as faux lime washing. I tried to find my color card to let you know the exact colors but I just went with a darker grey and a light one. You basically pour them side by side in the paint tray and dip your 4-inch brush in so that the paint coats it half and half. You just paint using an X motion. Use a spray bottle filled with water and lightly spray areas you want to blend more. It is a very lengthy process but so worth it. I HAVE to see your finished product when you're done.
I've been looking for new mattresses and bed frames. I can't find what I want at all.
