There is a big difference.. one was confrontation with squared up arms, clenched fists and a stare down as if to intimidate the player. The other was like mostly a sideways scream/roar in the face. Draymond was quite self-aware when he did the scream, especially since he already got a technical. Giannis was not; he failed to realize how aggressive and confrontational his posture appeared. Also, note that Giannis intentionally stepped in the face of the player to do his confrontational act instead of kept going right after the dunk. Imagine, you are a ref who can read body language really good, what would you do? What if Giannis does this to everybody after a dunk?

Disagree strongly. He bumped him when he was running is that a foul sure but literally 2 plays later the same thing happens to klay and the announcers say it and replayed the 2 situations showing klay was pushes with 2 hands which was a no call vs drays shoulder/elbow bump which turned into an ejections. Ill also add if getting fouled results in you getting so upset that you deliberately run into someone you should get ejected as thats a flagrant 2 as its both unnecessary and excessive contact

Let's go back to the tape and see what happened." Nope...these clueless announcers just keep assuming that the altercation was the result of a play that happened like 5 minutes prior...lol. I'm a Knicks fan...but regardless of how good or bad the team is doing, one thing that Knicks fans could count on, is the astuteness and intelligence of the on-air announcers. I suppose that's why NY Knicks announcers like Mike Breen are usually tasked with calling nationally televised NON-Knicks games as well.

In the 90s especially, people were not taking hard elbows often at all. And most of the time it was not intentional. Yall gotta stop with these lies these documentaries push for the sake of good content. Players in the 90s who weren't that good at all and talked hella shit went untouched. Draymond and any NBA player today would be fine back in the day. You folks kill me the way you truly believe the game was just that much more physical back in the day. Id never say it wasn't tougher, it was, but to the extent you guys make it seem, just no. Mfs were not willingly just fighting and trying to hurt people on a night to night basis.
