    Bills will beat the Cowboys, quite easily and cowboys will also lose the Dolphins I think we live in a society that only remembers what has happened recently, and not what has been the happening consistently This cowboys team isn’t that good against good teams and eagles just went through a tough schedule so they are beat up Bills will beat the cowboys. Dak being MVP will take a huge hit after this week I have no horse in this race and I picked the cowboys to beat eagles easily and now I believe that bills are more desperate and with dolphins losing they have a real shot at winning the division

    There’s studies that show 99% of the thoughts that pop into your head are uncontrolled. Free will is probably an illusion as all your behaviors are a combination of your genetics, your brain chemistry (which can be permanently damaged by a bad childhood) and your reactions to external stimuli, i.e. the environment. He’s definitely got mental health issues.

    I feel like he was getting it but the way he was spinning it was making it seem like Brock is trash against non playoff teams. Dak has 10 games compared to purdys 6 and realistically one of the 9ers was the burrow bengals when they were surging before the injury.

  • @jehushaphat

    That actually doesn't make sense at all since Dak would only be 2-2 against playoff contending teams, while Purdy is still sitting at 5-2 against such teams. Also, while we do understand the point that Nick was trying to make, and while it makes perfect logic, it's completely irrelevant because Dak is obviously not likely to face non-playoff contending teams in the playoffs. The last thing the league wants is to give the MVP to someone only to see them bounce from the playoffs as soon as they get there.

    It was NOT logical tho. Bru wasn't getting it cuz he couldn't understand how Nick thought it was a good point, not cuz he didn't understand what Nick was saying. The graphic Bru showed had more games for Brock against good teams. So, Nick is saying, "yeah, but if you show how Dak played more bad teams his stats catch up to be about even w Brock." Do you see how illogical that defense of Dak is? Dak's overall stats look good only cuz he's played a lot of bad teams. Nick's alleged "logic" is in fact the best argument why Dak should NOT be a favorite for MVP. That's in addition to the fact that how they play against better teams should be much more important anyway. I'm sure Nick even realized this after he thought about it for a minute. He probably just thought it made sense in the moment trying to quickly defend his pick.

    That's such a dumb thing to call fans. Every team gets new fans when they start winning. In fact, as a business That's thats the goal, to get more fans to watch the games and everyone loves a winner. Only bitter fans of a losing team say stuff like this. Nit everyone grows up in a city with a sports team. Think about how many teams there are versus how many states and cities we have. As a fan of the sport, you should be happy when a team brings in more fans, which means more money for your team to grow and get players. Stop being a small-minded idiot

    Nick’s logic, while normally very sound, was laughably flawed regarding Dak vs Purdy at 16:44. Purdy’s record being way better vs playoff teams does not make Dak’s record way better vs non-playoff teams. According to the very graphic Nick kept referring to, Purdy would be 5-1 and Dak would be 9-1 vs non-playoff teams. So they’ve both played generally great vs non-playoff teams, Dak has just played way more of them than Purdy. That’s all those numbers mean. Nick is really getting desperate with his anti-Purdy takes at this point 😂

  • @mani-xc9rs

    His point wasn’t about the team records in those situations but about their stats which is in fact relevant. Underperforming against bad competition does matter. Maybe not relevant in the context of which team is better but does matter in the MVP race.

  • @stansoffthewall

    @stansoffthewall

    5 ай бұрын

    @@mani-xc9rs I get what you’re saying and I agree in general, but in that moment Nick WAS trying to make it about the team records. His whole thing there was “if Purdy’s numbers are way better than Dak’s vs playoff teams, then logically Purdy’s numbers have to be way WORSE than Dak’s vs non-playoff teams, which is really a knock on Purdy.” And I’m just pointing out that’s not the way that logic actually works. It would only work that way if they had played the same number of games vs each level of competition. But they haven’t. So it’s not an accurate or fair comparison.
