I went to middle school with her at RJA, Reading Junior Academy in Pennsylvania and she was always a sweetheart. I remember when this girl was talking trash about me she said to me in the bathroom. “Raquel don’t pay no mind to them because they are just jealous of you because you are pretty, kind and have huge boobs.” Glad to see her doing well. ❤️🙏🏽

Yeah i agree. Yes we can see her growth then again realize she had been being watered since she stepped on the scene. Yet it’s the interviewer sort of beaming that light on Draya as well. Using her skills & at the end of it all they are working off of each other’s energies; therefore allowing viewers to actually SEE Draya, for who she’s is and really always been.

Draya’s comments about colourism was interesting. She was accused of being a colourist for years! Her “Fine Ass Girls” brand only had biracial and light skinned women in the ads for a long time until she got called out. She also only used to move with light skinned women at her club appearances. She used to mess with Drake and Chris Brown back in the day. I see some growth in her but some of her comments should be taken with a grain of salt.

@Writtenbytruth I never said anything about her baby fathers, so pay attention. She likes dark skinned men and said so in this interview. It is possible and VERY common for someone to be colourist against women but not men. You must be a new Stan of hers because she used to get slammed often for only casting light skinned models. You clearly worship her and don’t want to accept the truth but google will tell you all you need to know about your Queen’s past.

@@newwave2705 Thank you. I am shocked by the boot-licking and worship of this woman by so many black women. They behave as if Draya cured cancer. For them, all that is required for their admiration is that Draya possess the phenotype they covet. This is gross!

You do realize it’s ok for people to have preferences in skin tone without them being colorists or hateful toward darker skinned women right? Light skin women are beyond BEAUTIFUL, they’re the most beautiful women on Earth and it’s so sad how so many (not all) black women feel the need to dim their light as if that’s gonna make men ever like them any less, they’re gonna forever have our hearts and the more black women try to get rid of them or bully them, the MORE we like them because we see how insecure they make other girls feel (black and white), but a beautiful light skin woman doesn’t take anything away from a beautiful brown skinned woman, beauty is in the FACE, I’ve seen so many beautiful black women in my life and their skin tone never took away from their beauty, because beauty is in the FACE, not the skin tone, light skin women just happen to have very beautiful faces very often, because their fathers are usually handsome black men who had a baby with a pretty white woman, so that’s why they’re so beautiful and perfect, and brands want the best of the best to model their clothing, there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s HER brand that she invests HER money into, so she can have whoever she wants model her clothes, plus you don’t know how much she got bullied growing up by black girls for her beauty and skin tone, so her casting light skin girls is her way of encouraging them and letting them know they’re gorgeous because she understands how hard it is to grow up light skin and beautiful
