Drawing - The Art of Form

Drawing - The Art of Form, is about the many ways the use of Form has been a mainstay for artists to describe the outside world we call nature. From the figure to landscape to color the practice of Form is the vehicle to make images breathe. We take a look at the various ways Form has been used by the masters of art and also the temperaments of each artist as they pursue the multiple ways it can be brought to bear in individual artworks. Artists have been preoccupied with form from the earliest times and drawing is the very core of picture-making.

In my early years as a student I always found it difficult and a bit challenging doing Quick sketches. I waited for the longer times to really enjoy my drawing lessons. Quickness is needed for industry drawing ; animation. I still, today, enjoy taking my time drawing figures. I teach the longer sketch approach to achieve more accuracy for fine art. I am not in a hurry.

There needs to be continued push back of loss of interest. Absolute immediacy of socalled created art on AI is not at all proving as valued as artists' loving hand, their good eye and creative skills bar none.

I was hoping you were an artist. This is an invaluable video and because you will not listen and respect what is being shared with you, five years from now people your age who are involved with the current Atelier movement are going to leave you behind.
