Hilarious. This reminds me of a Viking story, crew gets stuck on an island and the wind won’t let them blow away. They similarly decide to off a person.(but as a sacrifice to the gods, not cuz of food) captain looses, doest wanna die. They do it over and over again until the crew convinces the cap to do a fake “ceremonial” sacrifice, they tie a rope to his neck and throw a fake spear. In the end OdIn makes the spear real in mid air and kills the cap and changes the wind. The story is like don’t cheat the gods or something, or like there’s no such thing as half way measures.

That officer is a time traveller. He is wearing WW2 medal ribbons during WW1.

The subtitles are infuriatingly wrong. Please fix them. PLEASE
