Thank you for this very instructive video.
You can try this also with "Derwent Drawing", those are colored pencils that are very soft and creamy, also very opaque. And they have mostly "nature" tones and a 5 pencil set with white, black and 3 browns.

The BEST sketching pencils, are made by Koh-I-Noor! They make THE best "Red Chalk" or Sanguine as other makers call it, on the market!! They also make all their sketching pencils , in 5.6mm lead, for their 5.6mm lead holders! They call the Red Chalk "Russet Sepia in it's 5.6mm form for some reason, but it's the same material that they put on their wooden pencils. That and Faber Castell, make the BEST sketching/drawing pencils. Staedtler is overrated and in many cases their supplies are overpriced. Then, it's Pentel with their Graghgear 500 and their awesome quality Ainstein leads, and that's what the "Best" pencils are. Rotring may feel better, but their pencils DO NOT perform as good as Pentel. No where near the precision, nor the quality of graphite. Actually, Rotring makes THE worst graphite, you can get. Honorable mention, Mitsubishi wooden pencils, and probably Tombow wooden pencils too, deserve a mention.
