So true, when I first tried VRChat I immediately felt awkward in public worlds, so I just played alone in private instances (which I still do). But when I got my friends into the game, joining public with them, I feel way more comfortable, it doesn’t make much sense but I ain’t complaining

Yo tips on a convo 1. if you want to join a group walk up to a group and say hi 2. Ask what their talking about 3. If you have nothing to contribute just stay silent(you get to hear them yap abt themselves and you know most things about them

yeahhhh the random mirror people and the others having a simple convo is so stressful. Most of the time tho, they are used to vrchat so they probably would have accepted you if you went up and chimed into their convo. But not the mirror dwellers. They will ignore you or stare at you majority of the time. Stick with the people with random numbers/letters after their name (ex: Orb 5j8c) - they are usually the ones around your age range (talking 12-17) and will be more fun to talk to.

love this video to be honest, one thing I recommend if you wanna do more vrchat drawing is this cool world called 'life drawing' most everyone is already drawing and you can also easily show them (if you want ofc) and I think it will help alot with getting people to draw ^w^ great work on the video tho I think it is so good!

I also had trouble starting to talk to people on vrchat but after some time it gets easier, but well tbh being in vr and "being" your avatar makes it more easier, hope you'll do another video on vrchat cause it's really cool (never go to black cat tho !)

i think something that would help a lot with finding people, you could make a vrchat group and then make a group instance so that whoever joins your group can join said instance/server. with the group feature you can share the group in say, your discord server so fans can join it and then when you decide to draw people you can let them know that you’re in a group instance and to join! or don’t and whoever is online at the time can just join so it’s not too overwhelming lol

as someone who has more than 1000 hours on vrchat i still have a hard time talking to people (especially as a minor) but once i stepped out of my comfort zone and tried talking to people the game became really enjoyable! i just recently started watching your videos and im super inspired by you and what you do you are super duper rad and awesome
