I love doing this when I'm outside, I can't draw faces so good so I just draw the surroundings, earphones on, jazz playing. Perfect way to spend a few hours. Makes good practice too and kills time so fast when you're waiting for something or someone, you could be doing one portrait and without knowing it you've been sitting there for an hour haha.

My art teacher banned all erasers and made us use mediums you couldn't erase. Really helped us but we hated it. She told use "every line counts"

@AnTi Toxic Drawing someone that's sleeping is creepy. Drawing someone in a weird pose/in the nude, if they're not, is very creepy. Drawing in high detail, also creepy. Videotaping secretly while drawing, also creepy. The drawing itself is fine though. The camera-aspect of the drawing itself is the bad part. He should take the camera out, point it at himself and go; 'I just drew someone and I'm going to tell her. Hello lady, may I film your reaction to my (normal) drawing for my vlog?'

I like it better when you show their reactions to the pictures not just you drawing and then going to another picture I like seeing the reactions

- ̗̀ Cameron ̖́- i'm guessing you're referring to the intro. it's not really cross hatching. also cross hatching is a technique, not a style. the art style in that video could be described as loose or messy. i'm not sure if theres a specific name for it. hope this helps somehow :)

I know what you mean I prefer cross hatching and use the same technique in my drawings, blending was kinda made standard in the art class at my high school so one girl took it upon herself to lick her thumb and smudge my drawing to blend it to make it look more "realistic"

When I was in middle school I’d go to the park when my sister was playing soccer. I sat near the playground there and drew some of the kids playing. Now that I’m older I can’t do it anymore because it would be extremely creepy, but it was actually really good practice

Dude! I have that exact same mechanical pencil! I love the .5 size lead cause you can really get that small detail in the sketch.
