Well after these two videos, I don't think I can complain about not knowing enough about facial expressions. All I need is practice

And practice you mean drawing everything when you get to have time to draw
I love that idea of combining different facial expressions and see what you come up with!
*sees cute puppy animation* Instant sub
if you dont have at least a full page of practice at the end of the video, you fail... the good thing is that you can start your practice NOW!

I have a whole A3 page filled with the exercises 😂
Combining different eyes and mouth shapes is GENIUS!!!!!
Something I learnt from this video is using that chart to apply expressions to different personalities. I feel like that just gave me a massive step towards better character animation. Thank you!
What great timing, i have been trying to re-learn facial expressions and character design the last few days
I am relearning to draw (haven't drawn since I was a kid). Your videos are a great source for quick reference. Sub'd and now binge watching. Thanks for taking time to teach. Emotions are so subtle, and combining them is a great form of practice.
Thank you so much for these videos, first time I've felt like I actually have a grasp on what makes an expression and how I can figure out my own.
Do you ever just look in a mirror for reference and forget how to emote properly?
Perfect!! Thanks for sharing all these exercises -will definitely work on them for my personal projects :)
This is such, such a helpful channel, great work as always
Thank you for the part 2 and bunch of exercise!

I am now faced with having to practice all these expressions.... I've realized how bad I am at drawing them!

@@humandog3240 Nevermind, perhaps it does help animators & character designers to prepare them to the studio.
Check it face
