I'm honestly surprised he's managed to release constantly DB content, without lowering the quality, all this time. i usually could never draw anything good without a reference but i surprised myself with an ok goku drawing one time. that's about it though

I noticed something about coloring, with Mark he has no problem doing color and shading for the person but their clothes not so much. Sure he wasn't focused on making it exactly correct but it's always satisfying to acknowledge there's something you need to work on and then tackling that

DIZK I feel like that argument is not valid. You’re basically saying that if you can’t do any better, then you can’t complain. Yeah, I can’t cook for the life of me, but I can still say a dish taste bad. Yeah, I can’t sing, but I can tell when a person is crap at singing. Plus, that was just a piece of criticism. He is not saying the drawing is bad. He is saying it had a couple flaws. Whether you agree or not, that’s ok, but calm your inner fan boy down.

Even though I can't draw for shit this was still entertaining.

I like the goku color scheme, piccolo as you said doesn't seem right but I can't point it out, and vegeta looked good kinda sad that you didn't do him in his pink shirt but thats just me. Overall nice to watch and enjoyed seeing the final product of all of them.

1:53 The prince of all Saiyans assumed defeating Goku was easy. Ended up having a nervous breakdown, and Vegeta was a truly exceptional fighter. But he had one thing Goku didn't have... GREAT BIG BUSHY HAIR!

Start out by tracing on like a computer or something and turn the brightness all the way up and turn all the lights in the room off and then trace lines so you get a good reference and do that with lots of animé characters with varying faces and then look at them all and see the things that are the same so you can get a basic look if what animé characters look like and you should be able to draw animé characters now and if that doesn't work, I don't have anything else and I'm a disappointment

What kind of problems have you encounter when you draw, for starters? Because I'm not really good at giving tips and advice. (also, you don't have to say stuff like, "I'm a kid." We all start from somewhere. Even a person can start drawing in their 40s) (also, sorry if I'm being a bit rude)

Another method which is less fun but will probably give you a much larger skillset in the future would be to draw many things from life or from photos (without tracing) and each time try to make your drawings look as 3-d as possible. This will allow you too create 3-d shapes from memory and from that point all you have to do is learn facial and body anatomy by drawing people a good number of times, again this can be from photos or from memory after a while. At this point it will be intuitive what you have to change to the face to make it look like an anime character and you should be able to draw them from several different angles. P.S. Getting better at drawing is a big commitment but I believe that it is one of the best hobbies you could possibly have. If you are serious I would advice getting other drawing tips from tutorials on youtube or from books.

Toriyama cutting a few corners in his art somehow makes it better. I love berserk the art is above and beyond but sometimes it is hard to see because it has endless hatching and detail

I wish I could draw in that style, but I'm so used to drawing in a much more detailed, comic like design.

As a person of color, I always appreciate a tanned goku. good stuff.

For me, it is always important for me to memorize how to draw something, and if i can't memorize it, well, it's just a bad character design for me, yes, i'd start with references if i've never tried before, but after that, it's all from memory. That helps me draw faster, making things come naturally instead of forcedly is, nice.

Honestly I really like this both with the commentary and the drawing. I find this both amusing and interesting to learn ways to draw things like these characters. I'm not one for drawing, I'm more for doing weapons, swords, some clothing, but nothing like characters. Personally I enjoyed this video!
