She shouldnt, Disney puts a lot of stress on your shoulder and every day is pain. You always have to be on time and it needs to be perfect in at least a year. Disney doesn't give much freedom to their workers, my sister had her experience working at disney like this.

I think Mushu would naturally be a fire type since he breathes fire. But he'd also have some...odd abilities as well. Such as "Tell A Joke" and "Tickle" since he's kind of a goofy guy.

Exactly what I was thinking lol. I think a lot of people drawing in a distinctive style have that same effect. It's because they're drawing on examples/references from the show of established designs, but in reality if the original artist were to put that character in the show, they'd be coming up with a completely new design that would suit that specific character

@@XARIER39 no she could, it'd just be a lot harder. You'd just have to really understand the style and use the examples from the show as a jumping off point, instead of a reference. For example, the characters in Phineas and Ferb all have such unique shapes and silhouettes as she pointed out, but she basically just used Candace's silhouette exactly. She instead could've/should've tried to make her own unique shape for Mulan-- but that would take more design skills than just art skills.

What I love is that she actually makes them really accurate, whilst most lack things in this challenge her art is so accurate! 🥺💖

Mushu should be a dragon/fire and if he evolves he either becomes a dragon/dark or a dragon/flying type. Dark would give him the ability to use his shadow to stun and flying would allow him to learn an ancestral power and avoid most attacks.

My first idea was dragon/ghost, but definitely looks fire with that flame.

All of these designs are great! The ones made in "Animal Crossing," "Teen Titans Go," Fun2Draw, "Star Vs," and "Phineas and Ferb" are all adorable, the "Lilo & Stitch" version is beautiful, the "Star Wars: Clone Wars" and "Pokémon" ones look epic, and the "Simpsons" and "Domo" designs are hilarious. Also, Pokémon! Mushu should definitely be a Fire/Dragon type. I wonder if he'll evolve into a 'travel' size.

I did not see the 2003 Clone Wars coming, but I can't say I'm disappointed. Legendary.

If you ever need more ideas, you could draw characters in the Samurai Jack style. I thought of this because I think Mulan would awesome in that style

Lilo&Stitch Mulan is my favorite! She's absolutely gorgeous! I've loved the style of that movie since the day I first saw it in the theater when it originally came out. The girls actually looked like real people, instead of fragile hourglasses with twig thick waists that even a kid could snap. It's kinda strange seeing Mulan with so many soft curves, but I feel like it reflects her warm and caring personality really well. Phineas and Ferb Mulan looks lovely too, and would've been my second favorite if not for the Pokémon style one. For a moment while you were coloring her hair I saw what Ash could've been as a girl. I feel that if Mulan got stuck in the pokémon world she and Ash would soon be great friends. Poor Mushu though, he'd be such a weakling pokémon at first. I say that because he can barely manage to make a spark most of the movie, and also cause he was demoted from being a family guardian due to incompetence... I think he'd probably start out as a normal type, evolve into a dragon/normal type, and then into either a dragon/flying type or dragon/fire type. Actually, he'd probably be one of those pokémon that can evolve into a couple different types depending on how you raise him... great, I now want Mushu as a pokémon cause I know exactly how to raise him into 3 different final forms... Clone wars Mulan made me seriously wonder what she'd look like in Samurai Jack style. I feel like she'd fit in to both worlds perfectly, though Mushu would probably talk smack about Aku before meeting him and feeling suddenly veeeery small xD Lovely work as always Mei. Can't wait to see what you come up with next :)

I dont watch speedpaints, I think they're boring. I dont watch speed paints where people draw on a tablet/PC because they can just pick the colour from the orig charackter, but your speedpaint is adorable!
