Super clean. Well done.
Definitely a machinist
I have a PM1236 metal lathe and have been compulsively making wood handles for; files, bolt rifles, and chisels. Maybe 300 handles from 30 kinds of wood. African Blackwood is my favorite. Yorkshire grit is a real short cut for finish. Annular end mills are a shortcut for getting one end of the wood round.
The restoration turnout beautifully the brass pieces with walnut seems to work well too! I really enjoy watching your projects.
Great design
This is a clever solution. And beautifully filmed!

Thanks Dave, glad you liked it. I haven't seen one made (factory made) in this manner or anyone else make one this way.
That WAS different, and way cool too. Beautiful work!

Hey thanks Jim!
Nice collet lathe, looks similar to a Hardinge I used to run in a machine shop.
