That's the point! Most artists create to express themselves, so often just drawing/painting something as it looks in real life doesn't quite satisfy us. We like to add our own twist on it!

That last one was DEEP asf!! 🔥🔥🔥Butterflies represents transformation, death of the old self and beginning of the new self. So once the butterfly leaves the cocoon, it goes through a transformation, leaving the old self from the caterpillar stage
