Just used it. I poured it in and came back and the clog was gone completely

yes Drano absolutely is my #1 choice when wanting to unclog any drain :) this was my very first time using something like this and yes it does work I can tell a huge difference in the before and after after my using it that is. so yes I'll be using this again when needed.

It worked well when I just used it a few hours ago. I let it sit for about 40-45 minutes though.

Use it everyday after my morning shower. Works so great that now I have a clean shiny head but no hair to be seen

The gel doesnt work so well on half clogged pipes. It works the best when the pipes are completely clogged.

Yep. It'll get it flowing a bit smoother for a while, but it just goes right down once it finds a way through.

I can confirm, I had a full clog deep into the wall pipe. I used this once and then plunged the sink after 30 minutes and rinsing w hot water and after 2 plunges the sink drained perfectly

My sink has PVC piping, so I'm concerned about whether if this will damage my bathroom sink. And, when is the best time for doing this.

i use the easy off draino jel its for every room in the house ! But dont use it to often will damage pipes ..snake drain is the answer,,

Draino comes in a bottle that is made of the same type of plastic as pvc, so it's fine. The only thing draino damages is black rubber hosing, and you'd have to soak it for weeks to see any damage. 30-60 minutes isn't gonna hurt any type of plumbing

Does this work for sand buildup? I'm a sandblaster for my job and at the end of the day I come home with sand in all places and my shower is so clogged now I was looking up videos about drano

Another tip for pipes that are clogged up with bacteria and gunk is to buy one of those cheap plastic hand syhpons used to empty fish tanks. They usually have one or two different sized heads, and they fit really well into drain openings. If it doesn't fit well enough, just fold some plastic wrap, cut a hole in it, and lay down down on top of the drain, and wrap a wet wash cloth around the pump head. Then start pumping. More often than not, you'll be able to pump out enough of the clog to get the drain opened up just enough that you can flush the clog out with hot water and salt. But if not, the pump is great bc it will literally pump most of the water out of the pipe. So when you pour in the draino, it's hitting the clog with full strength. Fish tank pumps work so much better than plungers for sink and tub drains. And they're the only solution for clearing the drain in a laundry room. They can go right down to the base of the pipe and suck out all that black bacteria buildup and any bits of lint that made it past the filter.

@UTECHPIA please can draino max gel work for industrial kitchen sink and pipe that is clogged from years of grease poured down the sink? My former occupants of the kitchen clogged the sink and we really need to make the sink flush again. Kindly help

if it's that bad, you'll might have to call a plummer or open up the drain yourself. BTW: if there is still DRANO left in there, please be careful and wear protection + let the plummer know there is DRANO in there.

thank you for the response, it didn't do the trick. Yet, I found where the clog was and manually removed the clog. The draino would have possibly just drained out of the pipe itself, I had to set the pipe back at the specified angle because it fell and was no longer glued together.

I'm going to give it a try if not I'm hiring a plumber and I want my pipes hit with hydro Jets!!

Now you can do a video of how to to clean your sink!

This stuff is great, but their instructions ("1/8 of bottle") are ridiculous! After the first time you used it, you won't be able to exactly judge "1/8" of the bottle. Why not give an amount?? Like, "1 cup" etc. I'm guessing it probably doesn't matter anyway; doesn't need to be that exact....but still, why not give an amount?

The bottle is 80 ounces… Just divide 80 by 5…. Because the actual dosage is 1/5 bottle and you’ll get 16 ounces. Each time you use it it should be 16 ounces. Easy.

Staying the porcelain in that nasty sink is the least of your worries. 🤢

That’s what’s left when the sink clogs and the water drains out slowly. It could have been spotless before but once the standing water drains all the stuff that is causing the clog gets left behind. Quite normal to see this. But yes gross.

This product didn’t work for me.

You messed up cutting the video for the 30 minutes. You should have sped up time. Nobody can prove if you cleaned the drain or not during the cut.

As a drain tech i can confirm that this is garbage its terrible for old pipes and burns that person who actually has to snake that drain

Im sorry People i made a mistake earlier i said Drano Max Gell didn't work for me I recheck my bathroom drain a few minutes ago since I let the Drano Max Gell settle in my bathtub drain over 6 hours it worked my bathtub drain is working and unclogged my apologies for saying it didnt work I didn't have the patience to wait and check a little later I just checked my bathtub drain a few minutes ago and it worked Drano Max does work pour it in and let it stay for 30 minutes or more it worked for me and i hope it works for everybody who uses it properly Good Product 👍😃 Good Luck
