    Have you guys thought of using a second B-Train set behind the first B-Train using power trailers like we do in Oz? There are some off road combinations using KW C540 with Cummins QSK19 and QSK19 power trailer, with up to 7 trailers with something like 500 tonne payload. However, although they go up some steep grades, they aren’t 8% and they are slow going uphill. A double B-Train with power trailer would work for you, I would think. Double the payload with one driver and you can still maintain speed on the level and speed upgrade. Going downhill could be a problem though, Jakes would find it hard unless you had additional retardation like a Telma retarder.

    Hi, yes we thought about the Australian configurations, but because of the driving conditions in north canada, it wasn't the best solution.

    Really like this truck. If you do another one use Cummins qsk19. 19 litres instead of 15 so you can fly up the quarry roads. Kenworth c510 can take that engine. It's off road so it shouldn't be a issue.

    Mack trucks has stopped Titan production in North America. Dramis Trucks are available in many configurations with all class 8 specialized trucks. Take a look at our website, you will discover some examples with Mack Granite, Western Star 4900XD, International HX chassis and of course Kenworth C500.

    You say in a comment "required by conditions to be all wheel drive (10x10)". I guess I dont see what this truck does that two 8x8 european style dump trucks cant. What about an oskosh 6x6 tractor with a double train? The limiting fact is the trailer suspension. It just seems like if the trailers can handle what is needed some crazy tractor doesnt make a ton of sense. Either way very cool custom built truck. Thanks for the video.

    Because of the slopes, the payload to haul, the ground conditions etc.. our engineers have opted for a 10x10 solution. We can provide every configurations. the truck, in these driving conditions, must be able to pull 150 metric tons.

  • @offroadrc110

    @offroadrc110

    The trailers don't pull, only the tractor. That is why the tractor is important. More powered wheels also means less chance of getting stuck.

    In america the safety standards in mine sights are crazy. In sudbury ontario canada truckers have to wear safety orange long pants with reflective stripes and safety orange long slieved shirts with reflective ppe stripes. Hard hat . Gloves. Safety glasses . Hearing protection. And above ankle steel toe safety boots in good condition. Laces tied tight. Just to enter the property to scale in a truck. Its nuts
