I second that Misty. 😊 He is awesome and funny and talented. One of my favorites! So are Home Free, they do not need all the flash. Another good one by them is Hillbilly Bone. Drama remember people that are mean spirited and miserable will always want to spread their toxicity.

This is my all time favorite Home Free song. I live out in the middle of nowhere. It takes me 45 minutes to drive into the tiny town. I always roll the window down & listen to music. I have it so loud that I can't hear my phone. I do love good Christian music, but I also love most music. So you'll never know what I may be listening too. I bought every Home Free cds & found out this song was on the Timeless extend CD. Believe me, I will find a copy of it.

I found your channel recently and was so happy see you have a number of Home Free reactions and I love so many of your reactions. I checked out your Home Free playlist, and then when I came back on youtube tonight I found more reactions to them that weren't on that playlist including this song and In the Blood. A few of my favourites that I have not seen you react to yet (although maybe I missed them) are 'Summer in the Country', 'Some Girls Do', 'Take Me Home Country Roads' and 'Woman Amen/Female'. That's the way I interpreted it is that the deep way some songs move you - you feel it deep in your soul which is comparable to how you would feel "the spirit" in religion. It makes you dance, it makes you happy and energetic. It's a emotion that fills you.

I just found you on here, I've subscribed and I've spent my last 2 hours watching all your Home Free. I'm loving your reactions and your words ring true. I find my thoughts mirroring yours very similarly. I'm waiting for the new music they're putting out. Have you heard the one Tim wrote. Its called Champagne Tastes On A Beer Pocket. Its so cool. I agree that Rob has a killer voice. This band has got me hook, line and sinker, and I'm a R&R girl but ill listen to anything and good music is good music no matter what.

These dudes are great and it's a journey listening to them from the hilarious to the serious. I know I'm a new subbie, but I can say from watching a fair bit of YT channels in different areas, from reactions to crafting, that the best thing you can do for your own peace of mind is to stop letting the trolls and haters get under your skin. There is literally no channel that doesn't have them.

Home Free has a great producer, Darren Rust, that also arranges some of their music. If you read to Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer or Auld Lang Syne you’ll see him in the video. They call him the 6th member of Home Free. I appreciate your insights and comments, please keep ‘me coming. Darren has his own group, The Blenders. I suggest checking them out some time, especially their Christmas music (even though I understand your feelings about it). 😁

Yea, sometimes if you get a really ego artist they attract really bad personalities. It's unfortunate that they persisted enough for you to have to block them cause some of those artists are really worth listening to, but ya gotta handle it somehow. So glad that us Home Fries rarely have to worry about that. I mean, there's always one somewhere but the guys don't condone hatred and are always so kind. When Chris ( That's Adam Rupp's brother that helped found the group ) decided to go his own way, he did so on good terms, still talks to all of them, and even plays golf with Rob. :)

...and 10 out of 12 tracks are original music with two songs co-written by Tim and two by Austin. As another commenter said somewhere on another channel, the album is full of truth.

He's a singer and arranger with vocal group The Blenders, as well as running his own recording studio and you'll sometimes see him in Home Free's videos, either in the studio or as an extra.

Yes! You are absolutely right about the different ways this song could be interpreted. I was not in any way surprised to hear that you had been a youth minister and started out with Gospel, etc., for yourself. Been there and done that, here, as well. I've also sung a lot of other types of music, with a great many of my favorites being folk music, way back when i was in high school. We were a group of four girls. We sang together from 7th grade right through our senior year (though we shrank from four to three girls after the 1964 Alaska earthquake because the fourth girl had to move away wit her family). Looking back at most of the folk songs, now, I realize that most of those artists (Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, etc.) were quite the "activists." We didn't perceive that back then, and even now, I don't really care, though I've never been oriented that way, myself. I just love the stories and the harmonies...to this day...which is one reason I've loved Home Free since I first hear them in 2015. There is some music I won't sing at all, and my norm, these days is worshiping my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That doesn't mean, however, that I don't sing along with a LOT of other music. :-D As for their new album, I'm not as fond of it, overall, as I am of their older work, though there are several songs on the album that I like a lot. I'll be interested in watching your reactions for it, though. I absolutely know know why you would get any "thumbs down." I'm glad I've found your channel. I'm enjoying your reactions very much. Thank you.

I try to listen to covers as if I'm hearing it the song for first time. Some people I can listen to all day. Others don't last 10 seconds. I know what I like and if it don't fit in that window. your toast. My father was a high tenner in a A Capella group in his teens thru mid 20's he was even offered a contract, but turned it down from what I heard from Mom. I can't carry a tune in a bucket. but I know what I like. (Home Free) , Brings back memories of watching in church. Keep doing what you do . Brush off the haters. It's their problem not yours. My Church was the first song I ever heard them sing and totally fell in love with them and watched everything I could find over the next 2 days and been a HomeFry ever since 😁 If you want straight up harmony watch Helplessly Hoping or Auld Lang Syne they absolutely kill it. I also like their mashups because they do them so well like Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On or Woman, Amen/Female. But one of my favorites is Good Ol Country Harmony written by Tim. Even though it’s not how the band really got together I just think it’s really cute and not too many reactors react to it.

Good music is good music, regardless of the singer's religion (or lack of), their color/race, their language, their gender...
