When a bully is also a hater, it's known as a "Sydney."

Maria is being bullied by Sydney 100%. Sydney needs to get gone. Plus, Maria is a good choice for Joey-she's calm and assertive, speaks her mind, is direct but polite, stays classy when being confronted, and has just the right amount of fire in her to balance Joey's puppy-dog nature. He needs that in a person. Of all the girls there, I see Joey and Maria as having the best chance for a life-long relationship.

Maria was just trying to say that she is older too. Medina is just being sensitive. Syndey is a trouble maker and starting drama for no reason.

Sydney the blonde made this a issue. It was a non issue. “I’m old too” was Maria attempting to join in on what Madina was saying abt herself. Yes she was invalidating her concerns a bit and shouldn’t have been talking crap at all behind her back but she was mostly uplifting her and calling her hot as a 31 yr old which Sydney omitted. I hope she gets sent home for being messy asf tryna create drama as a snitch

Why is Madina so sensitive about this? My friends and I are in our late 20s and early 30s and we always jokingly call ourselves old, it’s not that deep😂

Lordy Sydney just let it go and go wine somewhere else. And why the word bullying had to be said is beyond me. Producers quit making poor Joey keep Sydney for show drama.

Yep, it's happened to me. The person who is the problem and talking bad about someone and literally thinks she's a mean girl when SHE'S the man girl herself!

I hope this backfires on Sydney! IMO, SHE is making trouble for nothing or maybe! She is playing the “character” up, those were her own words! Looking to stay on in the franchise! I don’t like her!

Maria was trying to be funny , this is turning into a fiasco for no reason .

Firstly, I don’t think Maria was age-shaming. Is the fact that Maria was downplaying Madina’s feelings. And while I agree that I do not think Madina’s concern of being 31 y/o is something to be concerned about, I respect her feelings & opinions. It’s not ideal that Maria firstly joked about Madina’s concern and made sacarstic comments, and the way Maria approached Madina to address the issues felt very insincere and belittling. The “Can you explain what I did to offend you?” felt very insincere, and I don’t blame her because I genuinely do think she did not understand Madina. If Sydney felt Maria’s attitude was disrespectful, she should have told Maria directly. But even at the group confrontation, I don’t think Maria understood that is her disrespect towards someone who has a different opinion about the issue is what Sydney has a problem with. To sum, I don’t this has anything to do with ageism, but how would you react if someone feels/thinks different to you? What if you have a hard time seeing things from others POV? Do you downplay their emotions? There’s no point is being justifying Madina’s feelings because clearly I don’t know her, and that it really doesn’t matter because at the end of the day, is all about respect.

Madina simply shared abt her own fears and concerns when she was asked the first time. Then Maria approached her to discuss it. Blonde was the one who made it huge. Madina wasn’t dramatic for voicing a concern abt being older when wasting time and fertility are common concerns. You invalidating her just like Maria attempted to is deliberately obtuse.

Sydney is obviously someone who LOVES creating drama. She seriously needs to look in the mirror calling Maria annoying and a problem yet she’s the one who started this whole thing Medina needs to stop listening to ppl like sydney who will do anything for attention Maria is a literal queen. That’s not true. I’m Australian so I’m more familiar with the AUS bachelor and they have more often than not chosen the older contestants. It’s about who they connect the most with, the age is such a small factor.
