ive made this point in other videos before so i know this might be misconstrued and i might be attacked as a drake glazer even though i barely listen to him and ive been a dot fan since Section 80 but, "Drake never could have won" is such a bad argument to make because it's not true. if he never could have won, then he never would have engaged. he would have just gone on with his life. if he never could have won, then whats the point of Kendrick's "victory" that was all but assured and due to him from the start? why did Dot have to fight Drake if he was already the winner? what did he win then, if the outcome was already decided? of course Drake could have won. anyone always has a chance against anyone else. Kendrick could have been too weird. too intelligent. too high minded for his own good and the peopl could have been put off by him. Drake could have legitimately rapped better somehow. Drake could have attacked actual legitimate areas against Dot (its v obvious Drake is not tapped into talk like that, because why did he never once bring out Kendrick's hotep tendencies, at least?) saying that Drake was never gonna win makes Kendrick's victory appear less. sure, Drake should and could have put on a better fight. its actually so disappointing how poorly he did, but just say that Kendrick always had more of an advantage, or that you always believed in Kendrick's skill more. but to just wave away any potential danger of him losing brings the stakes down to nothing, and what's the fun in that?
@tylercastro8164

He’s not wrong though. The only way Drake could’ve ever won was if Kendrick never dropped. Drake has had his diss tracks written for him in the past. Drake isn’t and never was on Kendrick’s level in terms of actual rapping ability. Drake also has 40 times the dirt on him Kendrick does. Drake WAS never going to win. It’s not a bad argument, it’s the truth. This was career suicide by Drake, and he let his ego make his decision for him.
