Yes, all this is allegations. But I was watching a legal channel talking about the beef. He was pointing out that even if everything Kendrick & Drake are saying are absolutely false. Neither of them would sue the other. Because going to trial will expose aspects of their life, financials & associates even more. Both artists are under UMG, trials will drag the label into it and require all parties involved to court. All the allegations might be false but truths would be exposed that might be just as damaging to everyone in the end. I brought this up at work. I work in one of the west coast’s largest law firms. Offices all over the world. San Francisco. New York City. Chicago. Hong Kong. Tokyo. Berlin. London. Paris. Seoul. Miami. Houston. Nashville. Los Angeles. Dubai. Riyadh. Tel Aviv. The lawyers I asked said the same thing. It’s a risk/reward matter. They gave me a dumbed down example. Amber Heard/Johnny Depp case.
