How lucky you are! He does seem like a great guy, and I’m glad it’s not just a surface level act. Tell him he and his band is badass and a huge inspiration to a ton of young musicians!

@@westonnemitz1093 I’ll tell him. That’ll make him feel good. Ya he’s had the same personality since he was a kid. Always excited to be around people. I actually got him interested in the drums. I had an electronic drum set and his dad brought him over to check it out and he realized that he wanted to play the drums. He started singing years later.

If I remember correctly, Sammy said they never had a permanent bassist, just different friends or whomever fill in. I wonder if they finally got someone or not, that was over summer

My thoughts exactly as a 47 yr old. These guys picked up & elevated where late 80s early 90s pu**ied out.
Drain will always be a band I go see whenever they come through. Pure class and pure fun, with stage dives and spin kicks included!
Watching Drain ride the hype-train to glory has brought me so much joy

I haven't had the pleasure seeing these guys live yet, but I've seen enough videos to know how incongruous it is to see them playing with no audiences small studio.. but it's actually super cool to see all the musicianship, and also all the raw energy even without an audience to play it off against. This is rad.
