This episode reveals RPDR problems so hard : they don't go out anymore at all ! The obvious reason is because of the leaks but this cuts off sooo much opportunities they could use... Now they mostly do comedy/acting challenge (and acting always lead to comedy...) so crafty/beauty/performer queens can't shine as much as the comedy queens. Dragula allowed the competitors to release their talent to the fullest even without huge budget and no use of green screen or whatever !

People may hate season 7 but the first mini challenge where they had to pick out a Summer and Autumn look were fantastic and showed who to keep an eye on and what style the queens had

I really appreciate Dragula's drag aesthetic and their different approach to producing a reality TV drag competition. So glad that the show is not a carbon copy of RuPaul's Drag Race. As the episodes progress it's clear that Dragula is finding its footing and the elements that make the show work: opening skits, location shooting, live performances, experienced judges giving helpful critiques etc. The sea monster photo shoot was quite cinematic and beautiful. Hope there is more of the same in future seasons.

Frankie Doom slayed with the sea moster creature but Vander Von Odd is there for the crown, so avant garde, i love her performances, she`s got the full package!!! #teamVanderVonOdd

IKR Everybody usually comments on the queens. So it's refreshing to see these comments on the Boulet Brother's. I love how they always manage to include a movie reference in their intro. My favorite was the one on Mommy Dearest.They have such amazing dress, make up, and character. Even though I have seen some people comment on other episodes regarding their acting as being dull, deadpan, or boring. I actually think it's wonderful. Besides tuning in for the queens competing I get thrilled to see what magnificent dress/outfits the Boulet Brother's are gonna wear and their intro's.

My jaw literally dropped when I saw Frankie's extermination look. it was so badass and detailed and perfect and I loved it

honestly am i the only one who's really bored with Frankie? all her looks are so similar and her performance was meh (tho the crowd was super low energy) HOWEVER her sea monster look was *FANFUCKINGTASTIC* but I still wanted her to go over meatball but her extermination look was really underwhelming compared to the others

The crowd was low energy but so were the performances. None of them did well and the crowd reacted accordingly. A big problem was the lineup. You have to have someone on first who will get the audience excited and then keep the momentum going. Meatball was so underwhelming that the rest of the girls could have done amazing and the crowd probably wouldn't have recovered from that painful start. Unfortunately none of them did do amazing.

True, overall they were uncomfortable and unpolished to watch. the crowd was boring, the setup of the stage was horribly designed to accommodate such a large room. There were sooo many flaws, but as much as I rooted for most of the girls including meatball, I wasn't thrilled with her stage presence. None of them were good, but this elimination was who did the worst, and it was Meatball. The judges picked fairly and I cant discredit their decision.

i can’t believe vander was still quite new in the drag scene at this time but she’s so polished and the stage presence was immaculate

the thing about Vander is, the execution is always exquisit! I think the other girls forgot how the whole package is the most important for a competition. I know they all intelligent and there's so much behind all the magic, that is hard work they mentioned. but competition is competition. Vander def is winning the whole thing here.

I'm living for the peacock reveal, VANDER deserves that crown (even when her sea mosnter wasn't the best xd her costumes and performances are amazing)

I think Vander deserves the crown but the sea monster look was a bit underwhelming. To date the only look I didn't immediately love but I must not be getting what he was going for.

I gaged so hard at the thought of Vander doing a sea monster rising from the ocean, and that bitch freaking delivered!!! Orange looked stunning against the blue ocean and sky She's gonna win 100%

I love this fucking series, and that conversation they had in the car is EXACTLY right: drag queens say 'work' all the time because it's fucking WORK! I love seeing these left-field artists get not only a supportive platform like the Boulet Bros., but also the exposure they deserve!

This episode was sooooooo good! When the four girls shared their goodbyes it was so sincere and heartfelt and ugh... but when I saw Frankie's sea monster look you could immediately tell she was safe for the top 3. That. look. was. LEGENDARY.

Twinkle Toes I'm not hating on him. I just think that, generally looking and not just this episode, his drag is not on the same level as some of the other girl's. Having said that, I enjoyed his sea monster look even though the grill was something we'd seen before.

I found out what Vander's sea look is! On her instagram she said it was a carnivorous sea flower. A carnivorous plant obtains nutrients by consuming animals. This look makes perfect sense now. Vander always looks beautiful, but she also has a gothic-horror side to her that "slays" the competition. This look also compliments the song she lip synced to in this episode. "You didn't take me seriously, did you? Why? Because I'm beautiful. You think I can't kill because I'm beautiful? Well guess what, you'll find out the hard way whether I can kill or not." You have to admit, that's pretty goddamn amazing.

John Knox i think it can work. not all monsters are in ur face a fright. the death drop can work with the appropriate song, character, and reason. let's take Melissa's slide. it was nice by itself, but had she had ruptured a blood bag under her skirt or around her waist and either upon standing had a prop blade or nail that would been the cause of bleeding out, intestines coming out, or tossing a bloody snatch or johnny, would take it in the direction needed.

The things that made me laugh (other than the great Death Becomes Her opening): The huge reveal that was immediately cut away from onstage, and the mirrored eyeglasses showing off the cameraman....with his iPhone. :) (We're on a BUDGET, y'all! I love it. Keep making this kind of stuff!)

Okay so one day my trainer and I were talking about drag queens and she was saying that her neighbour (current or previous idk) had a son who was a drag queen and apparently he was a pretty famous one and his drag name is Peaches Christ so now any time I see her I'm like "girl your mama is my friend's neighbour"

Even when I was like, wait, wtf is this series? I knew Vander and Meatball as well as Melissa would be in the top, and I've been so busy I haven't watched them but I know that Vander was always my stand out and still is. She has it. I mean, who am I to say she has it but, she really does! It's like she dreams in an editorial language and it's beautiful.

That opening though. I absolutely LOVE the movie reference with the outfits and the fall with the stairs and the SETTING SPRAY.

This was the best episode of the whole series so far, not only content wise but also the cinematography keeps getting better and better, great choice of visuals and music, I can't wait to see the finale. The Boulet Brothers are pros! and I love watching how fabulous and creative they are and even though the show is a little rough around the edges because of the budget and because it's very new, the level of creativity, imagination, vision and professionalism from these queens is outstanding! The show has so much potential to grow and become a sensation.

The boulet sisters are fucking killing me..their style is beyond this world.

Because Melissa is only glamour not spook and Frankie is only spook not glamour Vander has this is the bag And Frankie deserved to go home years ago. Xochi Loris or Meatball deserve her place. She always uses the same wigs same make up and that sea monster look? The mouth was already featured in one of her costumes, she probably buys her outifts are toy r us or party city. I love how Dragula benefits from all aspects of a queen and not just glamour and pageant looks. I can't believe my gay ass waited so long to watch.

Vander is stand alone and is already excellent.
