Dragons Suspicious As They Unveil Millionaire's Minuscule Investment | Dragons' Den
Ойын-сауық
Catherine and business partner Paul are pitching 'Simply Seedz' - a range of natural breakfast and snacking products. They are looking for £40,000 investment in exchange for 20% equity, a reasonably low ask, but the Dragons find Paul's small investment suspicious, to say the least.
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

This show illustrates a classic problem with venture capital: When a company is starting out and *really* needs funding, venture capitalists aren't interested because there's no track record. But when there is a track record, there's significantly less need for start-ups to seek venture capital and trade away equity.
