His voice sounded like he was ill, and he was still able to hit every damn note! Damnit, Marc! I also loved that he listened to the critics of his talking over the solos and now did it without talking, the crowd cheering through the solos was awesome!

Dragonforce live is a must see (I just saw them last night). They were bouncing their guitars off of themselves, they were playing with their tongue, the drummer was throwing his sticks crazy high and at one point the 3 people with guiatars all got in the center and started strumming on their own guitars while playing the chords on the person to their right's. Not to mention Marc Hudson (lead singer) got down by the audience while singing, and the security told him to get back so he said okay and got higher, they told him to get back again and he crowd surfed, They ended up grabbing his legs and pulling him back but it was still bad ass as fuck. Oh and Herman Li got a special guitar for Through the Fire and the Flames that lit up in different places for different chords

Just in case you guys didn't notice, power metal is HUGE in Japan. Not just dragonforce, the whole genre.

For those saying that marcs voice isnt as powerful at ZPs. Listen to ZPs live. He had a strong voice at one point sure, but live it wasn't so great. it sounded great on the album because he had it layered in three different octaves. Marc sounds just as good as his album live, with or without the layering

camon666 If you honestly think that (Not sure if your just trolling, because it kinda seems like it) then you must not understand music very well because marcs pitch and tone are exactly on par with ZPs. So much so in fact that i made a video of them side by side and when they sing together, they are perfectly in tune with one another

Daniël Klein Nibbelink Well when a new band member comes into a well know role for another person theres bound do be people who disagree with the choice. Look at jason newstead and bruce dickinson. A lot of people said that they werent a good fit for there respective bands but in hind sight, they made there mark and made it well. As for the video, its the most popular video on my channel, click my name and you cant miss it. For the record, i used ZPs studio cut and Marcs live cut and marc is STILL perfectly on key when i over lap the two.

Wow, aside from different vocalist this sounds almost identical to the studio version. I've heard they could barely perform it before and heard/watched some live performances that were overall sorta meh but this was genuinely great, Marc's voice sounds fantastic too.

Actually, if you read up on it, it's not that they couldn't play, it's just that a large amount of the time they were drunk when they were playing. So they were performing impaired and they had a shitty crew a while back. But they cleaned up their act and started taking it seriously.

That's litteraly the best performance I've ever seen. Of any song, of any band. Dragonforce is just amazing.

I've heard rumours that they're shit live, they actually aren't bad. Obviously it's not exactly how it should be, but it's good. I like it.

this has got to be one of the best live perfomances of this song, everything was on point.

Wow, Marc has really improved lately... Well, all of them. Now I gotta say I don't miss ZP at all. It was different, and both are so good, but in different ways. We have to remember this was 2 years ago, and now is so better. I was in their show yesterday in Barcelona and it was awesome!!

This is where you realize how nice studio tweaks can make things sound much better than what they actualy are lol. But gosh I wish I could have attended a live just for the ambient excitement

My people u have to udnerstand that this osng is their masterpiece. They're gonna be perfecting this until their graves, most likely. The studio version well... they played segments until they got it perfect and then edited them together. It's virtually impossible to play the studio version note for note live. The live version is not only played note for note perfect but it contains all of their signature tricks for flare too like the divebombs and the proper pac-man / coin sounds used by actually unscrewing the whammy bar and using the screw end of it. So it is literally impossible to pull off that live unless you have a screw on hand and can switch between plectrum and screw with godlike speed. The stage they're at even in this video is incredibly impressive. I'm surprised they even play this one live. The pace / hectic nature of it is just impossible to get perfect. Perhaps one day, when they're in their 50s/60s they'll be able to really nail it.

Amazing live band! I saw DF last weekend when they opened for Dethklok and I was speechless. They spent as much time on stage as the headliners and absolutely stole the show. Dragonforce is a must for any rock concertgoer!

of course their tuned up videos are perfect and all. but this is damn good for any live performance. at least they choose to do this live. UNLIKE MOST ALL OTHER BANDS OR PERFORMERS, they wouldnt even chance messing up so they always lip sync and have it prerecorded. This is why Dragonforce is EPIC.
