I saw them about two decades ago as a warmup band for a band from my country called Volbeat. I was given the ticket by a friend and only knew a few of volbeats tracks. I had no clue who dragonforce was. They blew me away. The main act was pale in comparison! LOL fun fact: Volbeat, along with Gojira and Behemoth recently toured the US as a warmup for Slipknot during the Knotfest tour...

DragonForce have sooo many great songs.. Heroes of our time, The last Dragonborn, Fury of the storm, Cry Thunder, Operation ground and pound.. just close your eyes and click any of their videos and it's a guaranteed banger!

Herman Li and Sam Totman were the actual guitarist that played on Babymetal's Road to Resistance song.

The guitar were on fire that day,surprise that they didn´t exploded haha,everytime i hear it i cry,it´s epic,so damn epic.

Herman Li is such a nice guy, he has his own You Tube channel, as do Dragonforce, they are well worth a look.

Interesting fact the guitar player herman actually snapped one of hes guitar strings while recording this and they kept it in the mix right at the end you can faintly hear it.

You gotta watch them live. Fury of the storm and three hammers is a good start.
