    It was extremely unfair of Bethesda to expect artists like yourselves to get something so time-consuming and labor-intensive with only one month. The end result is extremely beautiful and so freaking cool I don't even have words for it, but I also hope you were compensated fairly for the amount of work this was and the amount of stress it no doubt caused.

  • @Fellefan
    @Fellefan4 жыл бұрын

    asking you to do all of this in only three weeks is crazy, shame on them for not giving you more time. sure the result is amazing, but a lot of stress could have been avoided.

    I love this so much, it's so massive yet still so full of details. My favorite is that the chainmail is riveted not butted, this is a detail that even "historical" replicas get wrong so it was amazing to see that you got it right.

    Tbh i think both methods would cost the same, just because rubber and clay in such big quantity is not cheap. So both EVA foam and worbla/rubber/liquid plastic are expensive. Eva foam has less work though, considering you dont make your own molds, so much more time saved

    This is so cool! I'm a game artist, and I think it's so awesome that you can do what I do BUT MAKE IT IN REAL LIFE!! I would like to offer one bit of feedback though. One thing that's really important for game art is it's roughness value. That is how smooth or rough a material appears(when interacting with light). For example, polished wood floors are very smooth, while rust is very rough. I think the roughness of the bone is the only thing that caught my eye, seems too smooth for the weathered effect you were going for. That being said, I have NO clue how you would fix that in real life haha. When I need to fix it all I have to do is change some number values. But you two seem SO talented, I'm sure you'd know how to do it!
