I was never into Dragonball or Chrono Trigger much, but I did love the first two Dragon Warrior Monsters games. R.I.P Toriyama.

I just remember beating this as a kid was so amazing. Didn’t have a guide or perfect method just willpower and endless AA batteries lol

ya know that you could use Ironize + MagicBack to reduce the damage from MegaMagic to 1 and bounce it back to nearly wipe out the whole enemy team? Don't unterestimate SquallHits (or any of the Multi Hitters with a strong ATK Monster, just avoid Massacre) DarkDrium (DarkDream, Nocturnus) makes the whole fight against Milayouh and Monster Master in the Post Game alone (~Lv 50 with sufficient Plusses he has max ATK without giving him Medicine ect) My Team that finished Monster Master was Slime (Lv. 99, Plus54, MegaMagic User, Bred from mutliple GoldSlimes), DarkDrium (Lv 63, Plus 52, physical Multi Hitter, can attack whole enemy team, deals ~60 damage to GoldSlime with a normal attack) and ZapBird (Lv. 99, Plus 50, Supporter with Access to Blitzer, BigBang, Ironize, MagicBack, and lowering the ATK & DEF of the enemy team) all three had HealAll (more MP efficient than HealUsAll) while Slime & ZapBird where fast and outsped most enemies, casting Sandstorm, Curse, Lower Atk & Lower Def, summoning Bazoo, supporting DarkDrium with his Multi Attacks How to get so high level: get MegaMagic, go to the Slime Only Gate (Post Game) on the last 2 floors, Metabbles appear (solo ~15000 XP for 3 monsters, a pair ~33000) just walk around to regain 2-3 MP to MegaMagic them to death, rince and repeat

Good old times. I remember whipping terry's butt in Dragon warrior monsters 2: Coby's journey. There's a neat trick how to max out all the stats on your monsters by 999.

question? I am going to start dragon warrior monsters 1 and I do want to get metal slime as early as possible. so I checked that I need metal dragon+ slime to get metal slime but to get metal dragon I would any material+andreal and to get andreal would need any dragon+gulpple. and to get gupple would need any plant+ any demon. so? so how many gates would it take to get all of them as soon as possible? and which gate will have those monsters thanks lol

you can get Andreals on random arena areas on some gates. Just give them some high quality meat, kill them for last and they have a good chance of joining you. Or you can find them on Dragon Gate as well.

It seems to be a Darkdrium, Deathmore3, and a Lionex. Could be wrong about the number on the Deathmore, though
