Bolt from the Blue should rank much higher. They do incredible damage and most things don't resist resist lightning.

+1 on this, infused with lightning you don't have to use elemental infusion skill is a great ease on skill slot.

My thought was that the less magic stat the assassin has, the less magical damage the weapon deals. So, 1000 magic might do less than 800 or maybe even 600 physical damage. Depends on how the characters' and weapons stats interact. It's possible that the dragons vein does the most damage with assassin and heavens key with warfarer. Not to mention that dragons vein can be further elementaly buffed

You're on the money with both of your points GoBro. Well sort of, its a bit more nuanced... But Dragon's Vein has the biggest damage output potential, considering enchanments can be added, whereas in their base forms Heaven's Key would still win out due to the very rarerly resisted holy enchantment it comes with. In al scenarios, Warfarer should out pace the thief on damage, when dealing magical damage (i.e. Using weapons enchanments).

I just found the BOLTS FROM THE BLUE DAGGERS. Where should I upgrade them, vermounth, bakbatthal, or dwarven?

One note about the blighted status effect, if an enemy is affected with it and you strike them with another blighted attack it can deal massive damage, that being said, the same can happen to you ^.^

@@khaoss4024 ooo didnt think of that, saurian daggers are the only thing ive used, procs were infrequent at best and mostly from helm/skull splitter... id assume you can raise the chance but will still need a spammable multi hit skill to effectively see it proc, as for dmg it seems on par with the explosive arrow but i need to test more if it resets the buildup (they usually die before a 2nd proc, hope we get true arisen mode or something... they die so fast)

Blighted is really good agains foes that aren't resistant, this (due to higher resistances and straight up immunity) does become a bit less effective the further you progress. Still some the coolest looking daggers imo.

Came here after having practically all of the top daggers and finding Heavens Key to literally be the best daggers after leveling them up fully. So i was wondering just out of interest if there was anything even stronger, but clearly not. The bolt and frosted daggers are both great too, and Dragons Vein is also great all fully leveled up, but that massive knockdown power with just a tiny bit less damage over Drains Vein, Heavens Key just destroys everything for me. So looks like i already have the best daggers in the game. Roll on the DLC!

I found a gorchimera in that cave! I've gotten to Battahl so it might be a change in world state.

Random facts: in DD1, the Framae Blades were the strongest physical damage daggers in the game! Also, Heaven's Key were the best daggers in the vanilla game, but had the same weapon model as the Divine Razors

as i recall all the weapons sold for wyrmcrystals were the Tier 3 cursed weapons from DDDA, and the stargazer set for magicusers was the Tier 3 magearmor.

did u choose heavens key as rank 1 compared to actual bis weapon because of permanent holy magic dmg? because im sure you know mages in endgame ran affinity buffs

In my opinion they are just an overall better dagger especially when you fight spirits, undead, skeletons, Medusa which are all weak to holy damage. Once you get high enough of a lvl it won’t matter tho. You’ll do enough damage lol

Well damn im glad i didnt sell the ice daggers… i noticed you cant use the fire weapon skills on them which do loads of damage so never even tried them on enemies

😂nah frosted edges smokes every blade killed my 1st drake these and never looked back moreover great list and breakdown

No griffin's were hurt (much) during the making of this video. It could be a feathery rock for all I know. :p

I was hoping that Spite would cause Fulminant Poison the way Archers Blight Arrows can.

It would defeat the purpose of Blight Arrows...as those arrows are by far the most expensive and Blight itself would need a nerf if a fairly early weapon would have blight by default.

Dragon's Vein is the best if the mage has enchantment. It's the best for fighting any bosses or dragons. Heaven's Key is only good against skeletons, ghost, undead, lich, dullahan but not so strong against living beings compare to Dragon's vein. Need to adjust your ranking bro😂
