No, these are separate. What makes the Brontide cast more lightning strikes is a lvl 3 purrified BBI ring. It changes the spell from High Brontide into Grand Brontide.

@@Cozonac3000 makes sense , does abysmal anguish do anything to it? Sorry would test myself but doing a pure fighter run right now, by seperate I'm assuming it still makes it hit twice right?

@@CrespinGaming in this situation, no. The Abyssal Anguish is just for the basic attack.
