I've just finished a solo sorcerer run and have concluded that if you are playing without pawns then sorcerer has 2 big weaknesses. Finding the time to safely cast your spells between boss attacks and the fact that there isn't one spell loadout that works for all enemy types. Unlike other vocations you need to prepare a specific loadout for certain bosses or you're going to have a bad time. It's a great class for solo but it does require you to use terrain to out manoeuvre enemies for safe casting opportunities and to plan for upcoming fights carefully. If you do these well it's a very strong solo vocation.

I didn't consider soloing because I like having my main pawn. Specially for the sorc, it's just not fun to be targeted all the time. I am doing a solo run as a "shinobi" thief, no endless form, of course. But smoke bomb and shadow veil hehe, plus the powder blast and the gut and jump skill. Full assassin. Trying not to use skull splitter also

Or just stack knockdown res and tank hits without interruption while you cast stuff. But requires lots of items healing

But sorcerer does have a universal build that works for every enemy. U jus gotta figure it out.

​@@luvlybalugathis is only possible towards the end of a run where you have the gear and access to upgrade mats. Most of the game you are squishy. Even at the end there are many many attacks that you can't face tank so the problem remains.

The editing is so clever. It turned what could have been a boring video into something so amusing and educational. Many thanks.

13:45 I'm genuinely surprised how this move is rarely ever shown in people's gameplay videos. That ice spell seems like something that would perfectly combo with that one Spearhand ability that picks up objects around you to throw at enemies. Fr, imagine having a mage pawn who just constantly spawns those ice blocks for you to then constantly throw at enemies to knock them down over and over, that would be epic and hilarious, yet *_NOBODY_* seems to be aware of that potential combo move

When it's raining, everything gets drenched. This makes freezing easy. Lightning also does more damage.

This was a pleasant find on my scrolling journey. Have a wonderful day, good sir.

After DD1 the damage of high level characters feels underwhelming.

“Look at all this damage!!” Meanwhile the healthbar barely hit 90% 😂😂😂

It's an easy game. People can play whoever they like and beat the game without any trouble. The title was just to get more views to the video I enjoyed só much to make hehe ;) I am finishing one with the mystic spearhand now.

Aura flare is the most power full skill, Kills bosses in seconds if you know how to use it

What skill is that? Aura Flare? The meteor? I prefer not to use it. I am not trying to kill things fast. Prefer the off-meta underpowered skills. for example, i play thief without skull splitter and endless form

@@thegamerdadshow Is a small spark that you place in a monster, then you fill it up with your regular attacks, then it explodes and drain huge amounts of health *whole bars to be exact, Well it depends of how strong is your magical power.

From one small content creator to another, you’re not gonna get the kind of attention you want by putting “pro” in the title. Not only is it disingenuous, but people are going to inevitably expect the “best” display of the vocation. However, you’re intentionally tickling enemies with your setup. While editing in “look at all that damage”… like ??? I doubt you’re intentionally making rage bait. But that’s very much the source of all these negative comments. Hope to see your future content improve in these regards. But otherwise solid stuff.

But I do think that whenever a single skill takes out more than one entire hp bar of the monster, it's "a lot". Malestorms take around 2.5 entire hp bars. I'll change next title though! I am working hard on these videos and don't want any hate! Hehe, only love ;)

Pro? I think not. Casting flare immediately after maelstrom would have had that dragon down in two spells. Glad you're having fun but don't call this pro level please.

I am not trying to kill the Dragon fast, my friend. There are many ways to kill a Dragon fast and many builds. I am showcasing some cool footage with more off meta skills. Thats what I find fun ;).. i do use Flare later in the vídeo. Check it out ;)

Using op spells and abilities to one shot or nearly one shot everything doesn’t make you a pro, and it’s not very fun either…

I like to use the fun skills ;) hitting dragons in the heart with ice spikes that burst from the ground looks pretty cool in my opinion.

@@thegamerdadshow from what I have seen if there were 6 slots you would not have enough skills to choose from on sorc 😂 I truly hope all these downgrades are only until a massive dlc, because if not then Capcom played a joke on us. :(

@@sunrisemonk there are 2 skills that are shared between mages and sorcerers. But yeah, we should have one or 2 extra earth skills, sunce there is only the "High Seism".

@@thegamerdadshow seism is a holy spell, since there was only fire ice lightning holy and shadow in DDDA. Did that change in DD2?

Lmao it took 3-5 business days to kill that that griffin. 🥱🥱 meteoron+flare+high hagol= sweet dreams little 🐦

@@MonsteRNieR wasn't trying to kill it fast. Personally, I don't enjoy using the meteor. On the final part of the video I do use flare, but it's also not my favorite spell (gameplay wise). Also, what's the fun in killing a griffin in 2 spells?
