This is the kind of game I never expected would ever get a sequel, since I thought Capcom would forget the game even existed. I am so hyped for this game. Every bit of informations I've seen come out of it so far has made me more and more excited!

I think the sales of the PS4/XBO/Switch ports convinced Capcom to make a sequel and they also had Dragon's Dogma Online, though only in Japan.

​@@GiordanDiodatoI think a big part of it was Hideaka Itsuno. He's said for a long time that he'd always planned on making a dragons dogma 2. He just said it was whether he did that or DMC 5 first. And obviously he went with DMC. And with the success of that I'm pretty sure Capcom gave him some leniency with whatever he wanted his next project to be.

I'm so excited for this. It's been far too long since the first game.

I am a self proclaimed combat connoisseur and yet I have only found out Dragon's Dogma (which would later take number one spot on my list in terms of combat in games) in Q4 of 2019, three years later after it's been on Steam... Just don't worry and have as much fun as possible with it!!! It found you in the perfect time, what with the sequel on its way!

Sooo stoked! This is the only review where the people talking about it have actually been big fans and have played the original game thoroughly. Other reviews have mentioned things like, "oh I never really played the first game" or "I've only played a little bit of the first game". But no, Ash has dreams about Dragons Dogma 😂

That’s probably why they were so impressed by her gameplay! I’m sure a lot of the other people at the event must have skipped over DD and only really heard praise for it!

At first i thought they were just jumping on the hype train to get views, but as soon as they mentioned how much they loved the first game, my respect went up for them, they did actually play DD1

Easy Allies had a nice review as well since they were excited for the game all the same as the people of PlayStation Access.

my favorite part about DD other then its combat system was its customization. Creating your main character and pawn , equipping them with badass looking weapon and armor , then choosing skill and inclination to fit your play style was amazing. Hopefully DD2 will have lots of customization as well.

Cutscenes and character models look so good thanks to the RE engine

the destructible environments added to Dragon's Dogma in this way ... the enemies moving us from way place to another mid fight ... the new reimagined classes ... one word AWSOME

I've been playing dogma 1 for more than 10 years, I am extremely exited, recently I started a completionist run where I do and get EVERYTHING again to prepare for Dogma 2

Dragon's dogma is like an experience everyone needs to play Capcom has really kicked the park fantasy game it gives me hope maybe one day I will see another breath of fire 🔥

I really do believe it is already in the works.

I love reanimated skeletons because of Jason and the Argonauts. I am a big fan of Ray Harryhausen legendary stop motion animation.

damn, the heart scene in the first game had the heart being swallowed kinda slowly, the scene here has the dragon just vacuuming that sucker up 😂. Grigori has been replaced by Hoover

Excited for that proper open world. And also crossing fingers DD2 to incorporate Guts' Berserker armor. We got Guts's battle armor and sword in 1 and it was awesome. Berserker armor in this will just put it over the top.

Masterworks all, you can’t go wrong.

I've always seen the cover for the first Dragon's Dogma and thought it was a game that I already played until I saw this video. I bought the game last week and I love it. It makes me feel like I'm playing Skyrim or dark souls, but with characters there to help me which makes it so much fun. I can't wait to play the second one.

guys, this game is develop and its director that made Devil may cry 5. now you know that gameplay is gonna be solid. i cant wait.

DD 1 was literally one of my favorite fantasy games of all time. I never understood why it never gained a massive popularity given how unique and fun the fighting system was. Hopefully DD2 knocks it out of the park and the game gets appreciated by the masses. Looking forward to beginning my adventure anew in March.

I've been waiting for dragon's dogma 2 for a long time. Loved the first one and the bitter black isle dlc. I played the hell outta that game. This game seems like it's twice as big as the first one which is astonishing. Can't wait! Also love this channel! Keep it up.

The Hydra from the first game was such a great and fun fight.

The original was good in many areas but where it lacked for me was in how empty the world felt and terrible the npcs looked especially in the capital city im happy to see that the visuals look way better and the world looks more exciting to explore.

I'm literally tearing here. I was certain that it would become a reality ever since I dumped 3200 hours of my life in the first game and then the remaster but actually seeing it makes this really worth the wait.

10:20 so are we going to talk about the quirkiness and more physics this game is implementing here? Just take a look at Talia the fighter as they run past the arisen while the arisen is walking forward. It's goofy and I love it. Also if you are up against a monster or enemy it looks like you start pushing against them while trying to move forward when they are in your way. Peak!

GOTY & GOAT contender no mistake about it. I adored DD, had this true adventure feeling since you could go to the most distant parts that you can see on the horizon it blew my mind back then.

I want to play this too right now! 😭 This looks so good, finally a sequel after 12 years and a worthy one! The Arisen returns

Griffin would be so cool. I definitely would do anything to have one as a pet or even as a friend.

It feels like LOTR, GOT, Elden Ring, Dark Souls and all the other great things that make the world great 😮 can't wait for this

Haven't seen a game which is THAT dark at night since Kingdom Come Deliverance. Loved the darkness in that game. Made it much more realistic and atmospheric.

Since the original Dragon's Dogma was such an underrated gem, I'll bet the devs were stoked to see someone play DD2 that loved the first game and came in with such genuine excitement for the game. I'm sp happy that this game was made. I never thought we'd actually get a sequel. I hoped, sure, but I didn't let myself get excited over any rumors or anything. I can't wait to play this. Dex/Duel wield builds are my favorites in game, so I can't wait to see what we can evolve the Thief class into in DD2.

I'm excited for EVERYTHING! The new classes, the new map, the new story, the new abilities, the new visuals. Easily a day one buy for me. I'm a big fan of the original if you couldn't tell lol

Remember seeing a commercial on tv for the first game back in 2012. Only saw it once and it never popped up again. Picked it up later that year when I saw it in GameStop and have bought it multiple times throughout the years. Stoked for Dragon’s Dogma 2!

One thing i like so far from what we've seen, is the darker, seemingly minimal UI. Its a small change but wrlcome. The minimap doesnt stand out as much being dark instead of light like in the prior game. I cant wait for the gane to come out. Hopefully its soon and not like 2 yeara or something

2 brilliant and underrated games that I loved but never expected to get sequels have both had sequels this year in remnant 2 and dragon's dogma 2. Just need to wait for interest rates to drop so I can buy a ps5. Can't wait, love it

Love seeing Ash's take on the game! It sounds like she's ALMOST as big a fan of Dragon's Dogma as I am! But seriously, thanks to PlayStation Access for giving us a fan's take on the game. Other outlets don't seem to have anyone who played the first game. Dragon's Dogma is very important to me, so it's exciting to watch previews given by people who are as excited as I am for the new game! It's good to see Grigori again! Aside from that, I'm personally interested in seeing how the new classes and hybrid classes will play out, and I'm also excited for new monsters! I wonder if there's any chance we'll get Into Free back?

Very much looking forward dread to this. The original Dragon’s Dogma was and is still and epic game and so underrated and did not get the attention on a scale it deserved.

There used to be a limit on how high griffin can fly before characters fall off it while climbing. I wonder whats the limit as i see it taking player quite far in 4:40

This is super exciting because if they’re letting people play it then release must be fairly close, probably early next year.

She sounds like a true gamer and DD fan. I think it's also really nice that they are re-using many SFX, and in general trying to hold the same vibe like in the first game - even with Pawns speeches. Some might think that re-using enemies a swell, isn't really original or is lazy... but I think they want to make an actual inter-connection of the DD world in general. Pretty sure they want to make a game, they couldn't for the first time... and this includes addition of Beastmen.

In Japan, the online MMORPG version of Dragon's Dogma was a disastrous loss-making failure and was effectively considered a dead IP. Thanks to Steam users buying DDDA, the IP did not disappear. It's a miracle that a sequel is coming out.

My one complaint thus far, from what I've seen, is that the combat seems a little slow. Was hoping it would be at least the same speed or faster. :(

They had some necromancy style magic in the first game. I hope they expand on that. Raise a proper skeleton/zombie to fight with. Cause some decay areas and single enemies. 😎🍻😎
