One of my favorite game when I was a teenager was the first Dragon's Dogma. Now I finally get to play the sequel after so long. THE WIND IS PUSHING ME !!!

I hope we have either now or in a future DLC a place as difficult as we had with BBI in Dark Arisen.

Remember when this game was obscure and simply known as an underrated rough gem?

Yeah, but then all of us fans kept poking at our friends and telling them them to play it too. "I know it's slow at the start, but once you get past the ox cart, the game really gets good!" And then they got into it and told more people... It's not really a cult classic anymore. But us originally fans can still look back fondly.

To clarify, no. The player is not changing vocations mid combat. This is one vocation, that is able to switch weapons seamlessly.

It's a new vocation called the Warfarer. It seems to work like the Onion Knight/Freelancer of Final Fantasy jobs where it has lower base stats than any other class in the game but it makes up for it by being able to equip any weapon and skill combinations up to 3 weapons at the same time. Not to mention that carrying 3 different weapons in Dragon's Dogma is a huge detriment to your carrying weight. This seems to be a vocation that will shine the more you master other vocations and get their unlocks.

it's a special vocation that can have 3 vocations but cannot get max lvl skills and have lower stats at all.

00:44 bow to a great sword with what looks like a parry and has the parry sound......very interesting. The combat looks very deep.

They gave warior a shoulder check/ parry that they can do. You can even do it mid charge on some of your big attacks so that you don't have to waste your charged attack.

Actually... You can't switch classes. This is a new advanced vocation exclusive to the Arisen called ''Warfarer''. You can basically change weapons mid-fight but they have a low stath growth rate because of that.

Despite the fact that sometimes it looks like the game is running at 13 frames per second, it still looks good. I will definitely wait for the DF review before even thinking about buying it

Play mage archer like having missile, massive damage and and never worry about miss target. In love with this mix class and so happy they still keep that class in DD2

To iterate on the post above, it's confirmed to be a new vocation called Warfarer. It has lower Stat growth than any other vocation in the game, but it makes up for it in utility. It's a vocation which can wield all weapons and skills from other vocations (up to 3 weapons at the same time from the trailers, or the player can equip more but it might get overencumbered by the weight of that many weapons in inventory). It looks to be a vocation that shines the more you master other vocations so you can borrow their skills.

Haven't seen an RPG like this since Dragon Age

can't tell you how excited i am for this. this was my first ever true RPG game back when i was a kid, i remember bringing the game informer magazine to my dad and asking him for the first one when i read all about it. he told me if i wanted it, i would have to help him fix his friends shed and earn it through working. i remember getting to his friends house and running to the backyard ready to start helping immediately just to get the game. running in gamestop to get it. telling him "drive faster!" i played the game so much, wake up when my parents fell asleep to play it. and still to this day i play it, the story over and over again. the isle DLC was just as much fun when i heard of the rumors of DD2 i said "no way.. capcom wouldn't, pshhh." but my god they really did, and i nearly shed a tear when that reveal stream came up and said March 22nd. i feel like a kid again. absolutely refreshing to have this game revived and i cannot wait yet again to go back to gamestop and get my preorder

If it's anything like the first game, which from all evidence it seems to be, it's not trying to be a jack of all trades It has a very niche gameplay loop that limits fast travel options, and encourages planning for specific journeys/encounters. I can't wait to see those ideas expanded upon though

I tried being a jack of all trades in Dark Souls 3 (the first Souls game I completed), and about 2/3 of the way through the game respecced into a full pyromancer build and realized how much I had been nerfing myself. 😂 This definitely looks fun though.

Bro the mixed classes in this game look absolutely insane. I'm so excited I can't wait.

Looks awesome. The graphics looks great but worried actual gameplay and smoothness won’t be so good after watching some gameplays.

Give us more save files if you want there to only be one save file available per character that’s fine but don’t make us have to create whole other profiles because we want to start a new game
