Something similar happened to me. I spot a Drake from afar, but I'm low on everything, so I turn back. While fighting off some goblins I suddenly hear a loud booming voice: "Aye, that's the way chosen one." I run back and the drake is gone, no body. But I do notice a small river...

I watched a lich just casually float into a river. Dud just wanted a bath and got eaten by the brine

Remember if this happens. Save and quit to the menu. Load up the new save and the body should be near by to not lose drops

This has happened so much. A griffin, cyclops, troll, minotaur, whatever would always dive bomb into the water

Thats what you get when you don't watch your landing zones

I was taking that back way into Batahl and on that bridge about half way through, a griffin dive bombs my group but can't stop itself from sliding right off into the water lol.

I've gotten a wolf and a shit talking archer bandit that dropped to their deaths. Not at the same time but still funny. Love this game 😂

The Brine must have some sort of luring effect, bc dam does this happen a lot. I swear, like 40 of my kills in this game have been some variant of "big guy decides water is a viable escape route; it is not."

😂 this is game of the decade for me. Last decade it was Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen. Utterly unique RPG.

For me THAT drake actually went bathing itself... was sad for the crystals.

It amazes me how stupid griffins are in this game. They used to be so hard in dd1. In dd2 I just hit them once so, when they end up killing themselves right in front of me, I still get the exp lol

Drakes used to land directly in water on my first run... Efficient mobs is a NG+ feature

what armor top is that, also get a Reshade mod

Final Roar, it's a Warrior exclusive top though just as a heads up, obtained via Bhatal if you haven't gotten to the endgame yet. As for the Reshade, I play on PS5 so no mods. I have a feeling my HDR settings could be messing with the video I'll look into changing those for sure.

I’m trying so hard to like this game but I just don’t lol. The combat feels weird and floaty a lot like monster hunter. Go figure I guess. Wish I bought a dcs module instead. Oh well.
