The thief is a ton of fun to play as. I love how fast paced it is.

Archer past level 60 is great. It’s also extremely fun to play. Flipping around and shooting arrows, shredding boss healthbars with rapid fire, or special kinds of arrows. I started out hating it but now it’s one of my favorite vocations.

I'll have to give it another go, now that i'm a higher level. I was relatively low level when i played through it.

I like the mystic spearhand when i get tired of being a tryhard with the warrior, i LOVE warrior. My pawn is warrior too, he uses Tidal Wrath so well, i love it.

Magick Archer is number 1 imo. Warfarer is a close second for me but the only thing that edges out the warfarer for me is the ultimate for the MA. Being able to nuke bosses has been insane. One half hp bar has been enough to one tap gryphons and lower (my weapon is only upgraded once since it needs eldricite from end game) so I can only imagine how much crazier it can get with the right build/upgrades. Plus the recovery arrow is super clutch for a number of reasons. Being able to revive from afar in crazy boss battles has been insanely helpful along with the splash full heal is nice as well. Been killing dragons since like lvl 30 because of the MA. But I am currently maining warfarer to level the rest of the vocations tho. Each vocation can be super strong though and I haven’t played a “bad” vocation yet (haven’t tried trickster yet lol)

I started off as a Archer, and although I had fun with the class, I do agree that it does feel a bit underwhelming, when compared to other classes, especially to the Magick Archer. I would go as far and say It does feel less powerful than the Strider and Ranger from the first game. I feel like other offensive classes just has an easier time dealing with enemies, while the Archer has to work a little harder. Not to mention that other offensive classes just outdamages them by a ton, particular the Magick Archer and Thief. It also sucks how they have to purchase explosive arrows to use Erupting Shot, which is by far their best move. Also once you get to Battahl, the Rocky Saurians there are practically resistant to all of their moves, and require explosive attacks to deal with them. Which means, you have to expend a Explosive Arrow to deal with them. While other classes like Thief and Magick Archer, can simply explode them using skills of their own that don't require resources. Hopefully they get buffed in future updates, and possibly give them back some moves they lost from the first game, like Fivefold and Tenfold Shot

For going through the world magick archer is absolutely nuts, and its maister skill is a boss nuke. For consistent boss murder theif is silly good, and warfarer is just busted for everything once your level is high enough. For warferer you just need to have rearmament on tonswap between your equipped weapons.

I found Archer to be very strong on bosses. Easy to hit any weak spots from a distance. No one mentions whirling shot but it does great damage and can stack it on weak spots

Archers maiser technique is one of the best in the game purely because of how fast you can get it and how much damage it does when shooting a weakpoint. That raised the fun factor for me a lot. My personal favourite is the warrior. To avoid spoilers, I had a couple of duels in the game and it was hilarious to stun them with barrage and then charge a basic attack and send the enemy flying. Most fun I've had in a while. Warrior took a while to learn but once I did, I absolutely loved it.

My first playthrough was Mystic Spearhand/Jedi, that I enjoyed and my ng+ I'm playing Warfarer as a Thief/Archer and occasional mage for levitate.

I still don't know if I even want to try trickster looks like something I wouldn't like but that's what I said about magic spearhand I been hooked since I started it, and I wonder if they are gonna add mystic knight in the next update would be nice.

If you time the basic strike on the warrior you can hit very fast. I use that more than the others except the spearhand.

All I’m sayin is, is that if you have the warfarer with daggers and a staff, just slap that magick bomb that increases damage with each hit and switch to your daggers with skull splitter, you can delete anything you want to in like 3 seconds max

i feel like most people just rank biggest damage as the best, If thats the case. the rogue is insane for that

I like damage and flair, yeah the theif has to probably IMO be the most deadliest hell he can't even be damaged with formless feint that lasts as long as you got stamina and it hardly drains it just using carve

​@kremsyngaming9270 yeah and on top of that. Use 20 of those dragon crystals for vacation skill enhancement = formless faint will drain even slower than normally.

Would love to see builds for all the vocations. Just show us the best/most fun way to play each one.

There's not really a best per se. There'a a lot of different skill combos that are busted, and on warfarer shit theres too many

If you get your Archer set up with upgraded gear and a good build, try drilling a Spiral Arrow into a drake’s heart and still say it’s weak! Also with two of the close range rings that increase bow damage the closer you are to target (forget the name), it makes sliding around and kicking off enemies for Parting Shots very powerful. This all comes from someone who has Trickster in their top three favorite vocations, though, so… different strokes, lol!

Formless feint, blades of the pyre, implicate, skull splitter. All you need

I had one infected archer (I didn't know). Everything starter after we fought a dragon. All my pawns were like brain washed, I was calling them to me and they were sitting like zombies doing nothing. So I was on my way to fight Medusa, when suddenly I noticed that my personal pawn just dissapeared... just like that. After like 2 min. another of my recruited pawns was gone (a mage). The only one left was this archer. And when I took a closer look at her she had very bright red eyes. She basically killed my other pawns behind my back (while we were fighting, I believe she threw them into the water). I killed her and recruited other pawns now... hopefully they'll be ok this time, but the weird behavior still persists from time to time😥🫠. So if you see that your pawns dissapear for no reason, be sure one of them has dragon plague!

The Mystic Spearhand is definitely my favorite. Such a good vocation, and tons of fun to play.

I can only play Archer:), I dont played others.

I like Sorc the best it just does huge aoe damage and can 2-3 shot bosses with the ultimate's. It requires a lot of knowledge of when you should start casting and mostly running around dodging until you recognize a moment that will give you 10-12 seconds to get off one of your ultimate's and seeing EVERYTHING melt to nothing!

So fun going around seeing the videos on people’s vocation lists. They’re all over the place and that’s awesome. The game offers so many ways for peeps to enjoy it.

I'm really enjoying playing tank/healer/support warfarer to my 3 sorc pawns. The delete the entire game. So fun.

I have thief and mystic speahand maxed with BIS I’m lvl 68 . Honestly I’m trying really hard to love my mystic but the dmg is to low. I have like 900str, 1000 magic , around 600 knockdown and feel like I do nothing on boss . I’m now in last world farming and thinking to try magic archer .

yknow i absolutely agree with the not thinking of liking spearhand i literally bought the game for MA but i got mystic before do i tried it and it was literally god like then when i unlocked MA i was like oh no spearhand way more fun

Sorcerer at 6? Augual Flare is the most cracked skill in the game bro nothing else comes close thats gotta put the class in the top 3 at least

Sorcerer is insane augural flare is so fun. Used this on final boss and killed gregori within about 30 seconds 😅

The mystic knight from dd1 was hands down my favorite and I hate they replaced that vocation. Peep this, the mystic knight could buff itself with elemental damage including light and dark and they had the best spells IMO. Abyssal anguish paired with magick cannon and compass slash saw me wrecking everything in the game and bbi dlc on hard mode... Except Death because he was just too deadly as mystic knight. Man I loved that vocation.

Warfarer running Magick Archer and Sorcerer (for the orb) is still the most broken class I have seen yet. I usually run Thief or Mystic Spearhand for the fun value, but when I want to just mindlessly roll over content I run with the Warfarer.

For me ive yet to find a class that i enjoy more than thief. The second best defensive skill in the game (the first being mystic spearhand) and having the highest unaided dps in the game.

Erm Yw they all have meister skills right there side quests u do to acquire them

My rankings 1.warfarer 2. Thief 3. Mystic spearhand 4. Warrior I haven't used any other ones yet. I think I'm going to try magic archer next , then fighter.

I started with thief then mystic spearhead. Now I’m running Magic Archer and it’s nuts. The ability to nuke a Dragon with a single shot puts it way over the top

Thief is my number 1 he can handle every Situation solo i love it and in the first game the strider

For me, the best vocation is the warrior. Big bonks. Big prizes. Big fun.

Way too slow for me.

The problem with the archer is that the weapon skills suck and force you to use consumables in order to use the skill. It’s a good class especially if you pair it with augments like lethality

Might be out of place but Trickster became my favorite. Allows loved the support route and it’s incredibly good. Sure the class doesn’t do any damage but the amount of times my pawns were never the main target in a fight was so helpful.

Only downside for the spearhead is that you dont earn xp for the coolest move. Hitting them across the map

I feel you are grossly underestimating the archer. Hitting headshots on enemies is almost always a 1 shot kill. Also for me the beast class for shredding dragons.

Glad you put trickster as the worst...because it really is the worst of them all

Archer being weak XD ? Lol seems you haven't hit an explosive shot on a critical spot then temepest that critical place lol 👀 while you juiced up. Basically most things will die

i mean if someone takes there time to upload make a full video 🤔 least you can do is actually use every skill and give things a fair look. Like its wild that archer does low dmg 🤣 like i don't main it and ive killed golem in seconds as in like 8 flat. Having a party of archers with explosives is basically the most broken party in game ect ect. Past level 50 you can literally 1 shot cyclops and so on.

You don’t think. The archers damage is bad if you use tar shot then explosive shot you can take hole health bars of drakes it’s really powerful sure it’s not the thief which is broken but I do disagree with you calling it low damage.

Saying that the archer doesn't hit hard is crazy. I stopped playing the archer bc of how easy it made the game. 1 explosive shot on a griffins head can 1 shot it with full health. The explosive shot melts all bosses its completely broken and thats why I despise the class.

Am I the only one who loved the Archer?

Archer: "Doesn't hit very hard" You my friend, might need aimbot. Archer has the highest single hit damage in the game, even more than warrior on a weakspot. Magick Archer has the most damaging ability at the cost of life, but that's multi hit. Also people don't seem to realize how broken Archer's kick is, it has hands down the highest knockdown power and you don't need to aim for weakspots with it

Yes. Archer out of all classes can hit weak spots the easiest from range. Building into knockdown with the class can easily knockdown most enemies. Can proc debilitions from element affinity weapons easily and can add debilitations to enemies to get stronger versions. People seen that you have to have consumables for four of the skills and then chose not to use them. The arrows are cheap to buy except the blightinig arrows but all of them are easy to make.Tarring shot at the beginning of the game with fire infinity weapons melts all early game big monsters.

Disagree with sorcerer. Definetly top 3.

Everyone keeps praising skullsplitter when it is a goofy dumb looking attack. I would never use it just because OmG 🤤 dAmaGe!! Bunch of uncouth simpletons!

This game is so stupidly easy compared to the first one. So disappointed with the design choices they made in this game.
