Great video! I have a Dragon King Autumn Leaf Katana, & love it! The blade on mine is 5160. It is the sharpest implement in my house, & I have a large streight razor collection🙂 I have been a katana enthusiest since the 80s, & having something like this, for the price feels like a miracle! Great review, you nailed it. Dragon King really shines, their pride in craftsmanship, attention to details, & quality materials, lands the end user with a tool that really sings.

Yeah ... I have to say that for the various more affordable price points that Dragon King hits ... I think their models tend to be, pardon the over used pun, a cut above most in those similar price points. The seasonal series that they made aren't exactly the same heavy builds as other "heavy cutters" like Raptors, Ronin Katana's Dojo Pro Series, or even Cold Steel's katanas are. But ... they do feature some nice fittings and tend to suffer a lot fewer of the quality control issues that have plagued Hanwei of late. Also ... even though they are a little lighter ... they are my go to for practice cutting. My personal fav is their Winter Sun. This Hana katana was a great all around katana. It really could fit the bill if you were only looking for one sword. Its got the weight for a more heavy cutter ... T10 is pretty tough ... and its got the look for something that a more aesthetically pleasing model will draw as well. The blade came RAZER sharp!! Cutting with this was a very nice and comfortable.

Great review sword friend Arthur. The "previously published..." section is interesting, comparing older and newer footage. Are you lef handed or is the footage just flipped?

@@mr.excalibur1455 same here, though I hide this fact using my right hand as lead hand. Maybe I should start training with my left too to have a tactical advantage against those invisible ninjas. After watching your review and M. Jensens review on the Hanwei Lion Dog I decided to purchase one that I'm gonna have customised!

@@Krappfiskarn Wow ... that's going to be quite the project. The Lion Dog is already a pretty pricey model to begin with. However ... I suppose if your going for a heavier blade ... it's a pretty good one to get. Personally ... the Lion Dog is my World War Z blade hands down.

Hello I was thinking of getting this sword. How sharp would you say the blade is.

Dragon King swords tend to come rather well sharpened. As a brand overall that is something they tend to get quite right. The Hana was a good representation of that attribute. This model was a just a great affordable katana, sharp, good for various activities and practices with a nice little design features.

the end cap on the tsuka is similar to the Golden Oriole. Wondering here how difficult it is to curl the fingers wearing construction gloves. As the blade cuts, raising the end cap and the hand turning the blade ect...i never!

You're sounding muddled. Like a def person trying to talk. Is everything okay? I know I give you shit but I'd be worried if something was wrong. Could just be the camera microphone...nice vid. Dk ain't half bad.

You are not imagining things. In future videos you may notice the voice actually getting worse. I'm not sure at this point what the situation is. I am pressing on with the channel at least 'till the end of this year. We shall see. I appreciate the concern. Thank you.
