    The only time I ever noticed him slipping at all was in the mini-series when he had to do something outside the norm like shouting. I never really noticed a moment in the main series.

    I've always loved history, and as a kid growing up i watched a lot of documentaries about Russia & Germany. As a Canadian i'm able to do a pretty believable Russian accent to the point where i can fool strangers to thinking i'm eastern european when i'm north american. It's something you can pick up as a kid, but having a natural gift at imitating voices helps a lot too. Growing up in the age of globalization helps in being exposed to different cultures, their accents and language habits. Great for halloween. ;)
