That moment when Gohan surpasses Goku is the best scene in the whole dbz because Gohan had that build up from the start of the show !! Everytime I watch this scene I get goosebumps

Gohan cried the manliest tears of his life at the age of 11 and this theme captures it perfectly. Such nostalgia man!!

This version PERFECTLY captures the "I don't want this. I just want to live in peace. I want a normal life without fighting" vibe so well especially during the piano intro and ending.

7 years later and it still holds up better than ever

I love this song because the piano at the start sounds gentle and quiet and then when Cell kills 16, the guitar kicks in at the same time Gohan snaps. ITS SO GOOD!!

Gohan was the hero I admired most when I was a kid...Thanks for bringing back good old memories :)

DBZ had the best background music hands down

This is one of my favorite scenes in all of Dragonball. Gohan is and always will be my fave character. When he looses it in this point always sends a shiver down my spine.

Honest opinion and long time fan as well as a bass player and I must tell you that the bassline in the original cover you made was better I honestly don't know why you went for the high notes at the beginning but still amazing cover i wish you could put this song on spotify instead (:

Going trough a journey back in time to all the amazing covers from DBZ that 94 stones did. I think this was is my favorite, just amazing.

This is by far, my favorite song from anything related to dragon ball, the way it combines both sadness and anger, it's just so amazing.

Still reminding me of that pinnacle moment where Gohan finally snapped and decided "you know what Cell? You want my true power? Here's all of it at once, AND some. Oh what you're scared now? Don't mess with forces you don't understand, Cell" I can just imagine him saying it

That was an intense and awesome cover! Things got real at 1:15. I can't stop listening to it! It's less than 3 minutes long, so I play it again, and next thing you know it's been on repeat for 20 minutes...

***** It completely lacks the soul and emotion of DBZ. Not to mention that the new things introduced are mostly lazy color swaps like SSJGSSJ/Black Goku. That and the fact that the animation is horrible, like Sunday morning cartoon bad.

The Weird O's I prefer DBZ purely because the hand drawn art style and the grit. Every punch in DBZ felt more impactful whereas DBS has trouble making a punch look like it has momentum or force behind it when they throw it, especially on the ones with a buildup where they basically hold their fist still and make lines appear around it to simulate some lazy attempt at motion. The new arc with Goku Black is compelling enough to hold my attention though, definitely starting to love it. I never really liked Super before Goku Black.

Well done. So many people do 'metal' covers of songs and somehow think that throwing in a bunch of guitars and drums makes music good, while eliminating the melody almost altogether... You did a very good job of adding in some of my favorite instruments while maintaining the melody of the song.
