Timeliness are created when contradictions are made, not when someone simply goes back in time . This is explained on a whiteboard, to children, in the show.

About the green rings. 1 of them is probably just not in Gowasu's possesion, or someone made a mistake and treated the main timeline as one, despite multiple interferences (Cell and Trunks). Trunks' double inteference in the cell saga was probably intentionally not counted as multiple because shenanigans.

It's so confusing to me that a lot of people treat the History of Trunks timeline as the main (original) one, when from the very beginning we've been following the original timeline. Yes, when Cell and Trunks arrived they changed the course of history, but this was always the original timeline we have been following from the get go. But yeah, Dragon Ball time travel is INSANE and Super only made it worse lmao

TL;DR at Bottom *The Super Trunks Theory* So we have Z Trunks (purple hair) and Super Trunks (blue hair) Super Trunks comes from an alternate timeline which was an identical timeline to Z Trunks' except for a few differences, a major one being Blue Hair. Super Trunks goes to our main timeline due to Black instead of his version of his main timeline. Our main timeline helps a Trunks who they're unsure of. The Trunks we know (Z Trunks) never encounters Zamazu and Black, because our timeline's Goku hasn't faced Zamazu yet. So Z Trunks is living a normal life in his timeline whilst Super Trunks comes back cause of Black, but goes to our main timeline instead of his version of our main timeline. Black comes from Super Trunks' version of our main timeline and heads to Super Trunks' timeline, then Super Trunks accidentally ends in our main timeline rather than his, but doesn't know due to them being nearly identical. Super Trunks is different from Z Trunks due to a few things: - Blue Hair in the flashback of Gohan death, meaning that for him, he's always had blue hair, and it didn't just randomly change colour - Gohan's eyes closed instead of open - Scene is a bit less brutal However whenever the Z Fighters have flashbacks of Trunks, he has purple hair. The Z Fighters have flashbacks and remember Z Trunks, whilst Super Trunks remembers his time line's events of actions, and his timeline's main timeline's events. Super Trunks' timelines seem to be less brutal than Z Trunks' ones, having less blood and less gore (shown in flashbacks and stuff) Super Trunks has hit own set of timelines that Z Trunks had including extra ones due to the whole Blackarrot incident. TL;DR So Super Trunks is an alternate Version of Z Trunks with a whole set of extra identical timelines with several minor differences who gets his life screwed by Black and travels to the wrong timeline (our timeline) instead of his version of his main timeline, before having said timeline erased, and then being sent to his timeline before his Black arrived. Who knew Blue hair was so deadly

Ok. Let me get this clear. 1 is the timeline made in the million years ago by a man who created a time machine at Universe 12 which i won't count cause this will confusing us badly. 1 is "the Original Timeline" of Future Trunk getting killed by Cell. 1 is "the First Unseen Timeline" fixed by Trunk from "the Original Timeline". 1 is "the Second Unseen Timeline" that Cell used time machine to go back in time to "the Original Timeline" which is even darker. 1 is "the Main Timeline" that Cell used time machine to go back in time to "the First Unseen Timeline" and made it the canon timeline. 1 is the "Future Trunk Timeline" without being killed by Cell. 1 is "Black Goku's Timeline". 1 is the "Future Trunk Timeline" without Goku Black interfere. So there are 7 timelines in total. Am I missing any possibilities? Let me know in the comment

*Time travel itself doesn't create a split. Creating a paradox creates the split.* Thats why Beerus creates a new timeline. Killing Zamasu in the past means he will never become Goku Black but he HAS to become Goku Black for Trunks to warn them about Goku Black which leads to them killing Zamasu. I see why you'd say Trunks returning to see 19 would create a new TL to make Cell's recollection work but I'm skeptical because I don't see the paradox. It is confusing though. I prefer to think Cell was mistaken or that he was referring to future Trunks pre-timetravel when he talked about not needing more Saiyan DNA. My understanding is the rings represent: 1 ring U12 split 1 ring unseen TL 1 ring future trunks TL 1 ring main timeline we see 1 ring future cells TL

I think Trunks looks a lot better with blue hair in DBS than he does with gray hair in DBZ. Trunks with blue hair actually makes a lot more sense because his mother Bulma has blue hair too.

I like the timeline where Android 17 & 18 kill gero with the z fighters not there. Like in the android 13 movie.

But you forget, that the timeline cell made is then given two time travel splits from trunks showing up twice, so cell’s time travel should result in creating 3 timelines

I think the only reason our Future Trunks doesn’t get sent to the timeline where only Future Bulma remains is because Toriyama probably forgot.

You really should have had the video be paced a little slower, it’s hard to keep up if you go this fast about time travel. Also you forgot to add that since gods killing gods creates timelines then the 12 gods Goku black and zamasu killed in trunks’ timeline should split the timeline 12 more times, and gowasu was killed 3 separate times so 3 more timelines.

It ain't travel it's paradoxes that make timelines.

Is time travel in DB simply change future events in a way that didn't originate from time traveller's direct interference? Is that why Android 19 and 20 appear instead because Trunks travelled to a timeline where Gero just happened to decide not released 17 and 18 earlier instead? And even more natural thing like heart virus happened later despite no reason to delay it.

So for reference in Dbz there are 5 timelines cells timeline, future trunks timeline, tv show timeline leading to super, the timeline the trunks from cells timeline traveled to (has a lot of similarities to the main timeline), and the original timeline which is the timeline the trunks that showed up in cells timeline to kill that frieza and Goku originate from. Cells timeline is the 2nd timeline for reference

No, whis is right. Because the normal course of action did NOT play out. Beerus was acting on infomation he wouldn't have learned any other way. So there is a Timeline where where Beerus knows, and kills him and one where Beerus knows and doesn't kill him. We see the one play out where Beerus DOES kill him. Thus, the Kaio Shin lives. and he shouldn't have.

On the first recap you were slightly off from how many timelines Z must have, it should be 7, not 6.

I actually don't mind Dragon Ball Time Travel.

During your section of how many timelines super made, you missed out the fact hat since gods killing gods creates timelines. And since goku black and zamasu are supreme kais which are gods, and we saw zamasu kill gowasu 3 times, aswell as goku black and zamasu said they killed the supreme kais of trunks’ timeline which should split it 12 more times. So really you were 15 timelines short from the answer that should realistically be the correct answer when you ended your video.

Your missing that the fist trunk that die by cell he whent to a unseen timeline told goku everything whent backs 3 years to the android threat and foun the blue prints a make the remote control kill the androids thats when cell kill trunks a go back in time reasons why cell whent a year before everything is because trunk was going back to kill the doctor because he new where the lab was after bulma discover it

the trunks that came back after 3 years wasn't the same as the one who gave goku the medicine and warned but at the same time he wasn't surprised when the Z fighters (mainly vegeta) said that these we're the ones who they saw and they were told by trunks that it's only 2 but trunks wasn't shocked for some reason he was only shocked that there were 2 more androids WTF is going on
