Thanks for that. I could level Solar Flare so I don't have to buy Tien a Super Ability as he doesn't have one yet. I just put him in Trans slot 1 so I don't have to use him except for running in dire situations.

This games very fun and chaotic, but it REALLY needs proximity chat, because people don’t know how to give others Dragon Balls. I can’t wait for season 2

@@NamelessDeal Duddee one time I had 6/7 dragon balls, and this one kid kept ignoring me even though I escape podded on top of him, followed him around for a good 2 minutes, and shot him. He ended up getting me killed and then he died after. People like that should honestly off themselves LOL

I personally LOVE the theme that plays when you need to start up the Super Time Machine

As this game grows, it’ll be loved more and more. The mystery of what raiders will be coming to the game and what direction they will take them has me pretty hooked!

For me the biggest incentive is how much fun this game is! Been playing it almost non-stop since its release! The gacha isn't so bad since the currency you get from playing matches can also be used on the gacha so you don't have to pay money, and most of the good items for survivor are either given to you at the start or can be obtain directly at the shop. The only bad things so far is no crossplay, bad tutorial, slow updates and no way to chat with teammates, but the gameplay is super fun and addicting!

@@FighterNP I play Pokemon Unite and that game adds a new character and balance changes every 3 weeks. We know Breakers won't get a new raider until season 2 which is in 3 months, and we haven't gotten any news on future updates before season 2.

@@zeroknight2718 I agree with you there on the slow updates. Played plenty of games that updated only every three months, and playerbase would fall off on the 3rd month every single time. Most of those games turned into a two-month battle pass after a while - and 2 months is FAR more appreciated than 3 months. Pokemon Unite is a bit of an exception since it is tencent we're talking about - massive company that can make new features appear in a game with a wave of a huge paycheck. But yeah... 3 months is rough. Hopefully they add more than one Raider per Season. If they do 3 Raiders per Season, that'd be AMAZING. But if it's only 1 Raider + 1 Survivor... it'll be a loooooong drag.

You can’t even pay to do summons, the Gacha system itself isn’t bad at all. It’s the lack of original Survivor skins and outfits that actually look nice is pretty bad.

Just a couple of quick things. Your review was great, I'd say a solid C is probably right around where the game is at for sure. I'd just like to add a few things if you don't mind. 1. You can earn TP through leveling as well as earning some in the battlepass. Yes the amount you earn per level is still very low, but it's consistent and there's no limit on it, so at the very least, you level up, you get some premium currency, every time. Leveling up is not tied to the battlepass, the better you do in matches, the more exp you get at the end. And escaping is only one of five categories you are judged on, so you don't even have to "win" the match in order to score decently and get those rewards. 2. You can USE REGULAR ZENNY to pull from the Siphon machine. You do not need to use premium currency to use the gacha. In fact, as you level, you will also earn tickets, specifically siphon tickets, that are used solely on the Siphon machine. You can switch the currency you want to use BEFORE you pull anything, and you can choose Zenny, TP, Siphon tickets, and season tickets. So just to be clear, REGULAR ZENNY, stuff you get for playing every single match , will also get you Siphon machine pulls. I don't know why every single reviewer I've seen so far bring up the Siphon machine has left this out, and it's really kind of disingenuous. You DO NOT HAVE to spend ANY REAL MONEY to get the cool stuff you want. 3. If they update the game the way they say they are going to, then this business model is not at all close to others in the genre. When Dead By Daylight puts out a new killer for example, you have to buy that killer. You can't just play as them because they were added, you have to pony up even more money than you already paid, just to play as something new. They've done this with new survivors as well. IF Breakers does what it SAYS, they are planning to use this gacha model TO finance the additional content. Meaning the raiders that come out, should be free to everyone, along with new maps and modes if they choose to add any new modes. My point is, while the gacha is obviously not the greatest thing in the world and has its own problems, comparing the two isn't really fair, because even if you were to say something like the siphon soul characters you absolutely do have to pay for, you can EARN those, unlike dbd, where you really can't earn anything that you would otherwise have to pay for. You either pay for it, or you don't get it. Also the Siphon souls aren't really key to gameplay, I know some might argue with that, but I win matches all the time without having to transform once. They aren't that big of a deal. Also if you're trying to fight the raider solo you're going to get stuffed no matter who you turn into. And in a group your specific transphere isn't going to make any difference, because everyone's gonna wail on the raider together. 3. Powering any move up to ten will allow you to equip that move no matter what transpheres you have. You can use Oolongs skills, Bulma's skills, anyone's skills you want on your main character once that skill hits level 10. This helps tremendously with build diversity. So yeah if you say, want the escape pod move but you absolutely hate having Vegeta on your team, just level that badboy up to ten and kick Vegeta out of there. If I could say anything else, it's to keep those random elements in mind. Spawns for items, where keys are, dragonballs, equipment, it's all completely random. The only set bits are spawn points for raiders/survivors, and even then they still have a few different choices to cycle through. So sometimes you're just going to spawn, get really unlucky, and waste too much time through no fault of your own. You're not going to win every match no matter how good you are, your team is, or what your plan is. Sometimes you just don't have the rng on your side, and that can make a huuuuuuuuge difference. I like the advice to treat it like a party game. Though in my humble opinion, I think your aim for any game should be to have fun with it. Otherwise why are you playing it? I honestly think it's a fun game and for 20 dollars that isn't so bad of a deal tho balancing is definitely an issue in the game but I've been playing the game since beta and honestly I hope this game stays active its a good game I'm hopeful that they will add more to make people come back for more

When you play as a survivor, your teammates will feel the need to 1v1 him one after another to feed the raider to the point that he's unkillable. When you play as the raider, you will spend five minutes unable to find a single player until they they get all 5 keys and the 7 dragon balls. 8/10. Would get murdered again.

I swear we should have 3 downs before execution not 2. The amount of times I've been revived as the raiders coming back, only to get one shotted and blown out of the game is crazy

I am literally obsessed with this game, and I have been playing in for pretty much about a month to now.

Great review. I think this game will become free to play in a year or two, then i will try it out. If not oh well.

Kinda wish they let you make non human characters it wouldn't change much but it helps the survivors stand out against eachother

I'm surprised you did not mention the datamined that's coming for season 1. we have a lot coming up to keep players into the game. Now i agree Crossplay should be added. But they also need to fix the match making on those other systems so crossplay is more effective. Also When it comes to leveling up and buying things. Honestly I never bought anything with the TP coins. I did by a pack for 10 bucks but never really using it unless to skip 1 or 2 levels in the game pass chart. you can use Zeni to get those Gacha pulls and Getting enough to pull for 10 is not that hard. and sometimes you dont really need to go for them and save up. i quickly got enough to pull 3 ten character pulls. it also gives you soul energy if you pull duplicates so you got other things to spend leveling up your skills to make them better. It is hard to balance the skill useage because if it doesnt go down that slow it would make raiders and surviors unbelievably broken.

If you go to training you can get things like the super spirit bomb for example, for free with warrior spirits. Also you have to own the character that has the skill, for example if you want the Special Beam Cannon you have to own Piccolo. And like I said if you want the super spirit bomb you have to have Goku, but you can just get Kaioken Rush with the summon ticket you get at the start of the game to get Goku for free if you want. For me im running Goku regular spirit bomb as my level 3. For me the game is great and it was definitely worth the 20 bucks in my opinion.

If they were gonna go this kind of progression route, they might as well make the game free

You left out the fact that their gacha system isn't exclusive to real money. You can use in game currency, too; after a few games, probably not even enough to have gotten high enough priority to be raider, you'll have enough Zeni to spin the wheel for one of the loot boxes. Plus, the items that you do have to pay for with TP, aren't expensive. You'll get enough to buy them by just playing for a while. Game's not nearly as predatory as people are making it out to be... not yet, anyway. I do agree with the balancing potentially leaning towards OP transpheres, but we'll have to wait and see for that one.

You can use Zeni to buy the Spirit Siphons, so there are lots of different ways to get them. The game also gives you a lot of free draw tickets. I've gotten everything I want by level 50 except an outfit for Vegeta and one of Krillin's driving abilities.

Yeah, at least though other than cosmetic stuff there isn’t anything that impacts gameplay locked behind TP, I mean the gacha has 4 currencies that you can use for it which is nice, and any duplicates give you the points you use to buy skills directly

My initial thought about this game had me thinking Goku Black will be present in this games further DLC which I'm more excited for that whenever the time comes.

This game feels like someone polished up a Warcraft III Custom Dragonball RPG map into it's own game. I mean that in the best ways possible but also in a few bad ways too (hard to learn being the biggest). Once I found movement and trap abilities I liked Survivor became alot more fun, On the flip side Raider is alot of fun too. Before then one has to sit through alot of dying as survivor and getting ganged up on as raider which will probably turn alot of people off of the game before they get comfy with it. Balance also does feel weird, Certain Survivor abilities feel absolutely needed (the hover drone, grapple hook, and jump pad) to do well while others barely make an impact for a small time (energy booster only gets a little Trans-Energy at the start of the game then it's useless, S.O.S. is a skill preparing you to barely escape which won't come up at all if you are winning as Survivor, Emergency Teleport won't be any better than running out of a Zone targeted for destruction in 98% of your games). It feels like this game needs a long life to add updates for content, balance, and new mechanics before it can become really good. It's hard to tell if the game will live long enough and sell well enough to survive and improve though. Hopefully the Dragonball name is enough to make it profitable as a spinoff of Xenoverse cause it really does feel like a monetized mod of Xenoverse that could have been a mode in that game.

I love the game and played the closed open and last trial and got the special edition for the game it’s engaging and the customization options we have have been good for me. Definitely have fun playing with friends but I’ve had great time solo too at both roles I suck as a raider & the objectives are the same but it’s the chaotic mess that keeps me interested I haven’t gotten bored yet and I personally spice it up trying different skills that may be looked at as bad using different builds taking advantage everything the game has

I would love it if you made sort a move set prediction on new raiders

The weekly challenges are my biggest problem because the raider missions take forever to do when you only get to play raider after playing 5 matches as survivor or more. The game is really fun and I hope crossplay eventually becomes part of the game.

I upgraded the VIP Pass passive but I can’t equip it, why? It’s supposed to make stuff cheaper

I just wish there was a way to play raider more. In predator I would have to wait while but option was there to do random. It’s just hard to practice raider and do challenges when takes so long to play as them and then you still have to hope rng is in your favor and they don’t get all the keys right away.

My issue is the lack of different spawns bc I find the same items in the same place with maybe 3 or 4 rotations being the max of different items for one chest

Play the Green Area Zone or whatever it's called. IMO it's the best map, especially as a Raider. I can get Frieza to level 2 before a power key is found, unlike the other two maps when by then they've already set two. Game really needs a couple more good sized maps.

It's a fun game, it unfortunately does become a drag as time progresses, leveling takes longer and the after match rewards really don't help, as example if you wanna role gatcha via zeni you need at least 50 decent matches to get the 150k but otherwise it feels solid and nice to enjoy and play during the evening's

To be honest 10x pull dosent give you any benefits, you might as well alternate between buying clothing for example and pulling from single roll. There are also dragon pass ticket rewards and every 5 levels you get a gold ticket (I really hope there will be like level reset each new season). If you max dragon pass you will get dragon pass tickets with each level up. I do not know if with each level you need more pd or not.

Me when I use human extraction attack and the survivors still escape: 1:40

God it looks so fun! I gotta get it!

I already know the game is fun af (because I had an absolute blast playing the betas), but for some reason... I can't get past the VS screen because it infinitely loads Not sure if anyone else is coming across this issue, but it's annoying because I literally can't play the game at all even though I KNOW this game is actually fun

They just announced today that the survivor transformations for Cell, Buu, and Frieza are coming soon. Also remember, this game has Cross Data with Xenoverse 2.

A fair and well-balanced review. Only thing I really disagree with are your issues with the "long term play"... and "lobby music". Lobby music slaps. Not to everyone's tastes - but I've heard it over a hundred times already, and I still chill to it. Personally, I think this game is only good if you play it in the long-term. If anything, this game is *terrible* in the short-term. Sure, it's fun, chaotic, and great in short bursts - but the amount of in-game currency you earn from a few games here and there really is negligible. For instance, play 5 games, and you'll have gotten... just enough flames to level up a low-level Skill once, enough Zeni to make you look at it and think you have to save more Zeni, and enough TP Medals to sigh horribly at. Play 20 games, and you'll have enough to level up a high-level Skill, enough Zeni to get a new clothing option, and enough TP medals to... sigh sadly at. BTW, unless you just want to finish the Season Pass without playing the game often (really, if you just play a few days of the week until the end, you should be able to finish the Season Pass within the time limit) - getting TP medals with real money is a BIG waste of funds. 1) The clothing in the store that are TP-medal-exclusive look nice, but are highly thematic - they do not mix well at all with other clothing. Unless you're only after a specific look of a Z-Fighter, you're most likely going to ignore most of the options. The clothes purchased with Zeni are far more flexible in fashion. 2) Using TP Medals for Gacha are a big waste of funds. For every 1 Golden Ticket, 1 Season1 Ticket, or 15,000 Zeni, you can pull a Gacha. Golden Tickets come with every 5 level-ups. Season1 Tickets are gotten from the Season Pass. And 15,000 Zeni is easy to obtain. Eventually, you'll get the character and skills you need. The Super Attacks? Even the most basic ones deal seriously good damage. I've beaten more Raiders with Super Ki Blast Volley than with Destructo Disc. And the Survivor Skills found in the gacha? Not at all necessary. The game starts you off with one free ticket to get either Saiyan Pod, Solar Flare, or Kaioken Rush - three of the most beloved Skills in the game - even having one of those makes all other gacha pulls kind of moot. Unless you're a specialized player who prefers Wall of Defense, Fake Death, or Krillin's Shoe in your loadout - you really don't feel pushed to use the gacha mechanic for anything other than getting Flames for your Skills. The only other thing you'd use the gacha for is getting Passive Skills... Won't lie, the Passives in this game are kind of game-breaking if you use them well. People are SLEEPING on Vehicle Jump Boost. However, it's not impossible to land these Passives. In fact, it's stupidly easy to get them since most of them are Common to Uncommon range in the gacha. 3) The basic Skills in the store are purchased only with Zeni. You also start off with a few in your early loadout. And these basic Skills are PERFECTLY GOOD. The grapple hook? It's the only way to escape a close-encounter with a Raider. The grapple-line? Helps entire teams traverse the stage, and also allows for switch-ups against the Raider in mid-flight battles. The flotation device (jump pad)? The quickest way to hop over tall barriers. The stun trap? Has the LONGEST STUN in the game - enough to make some serious getaways. Etc, etc. People who sleep on the basic Skills are usually incapable of traversing the game's stages easily. 4) About the only other thing I can see using TP Medals for, is using them in the gacha to get repeats to get Flames, to unlock Skills at level 10. But again... it only costs 15,000 Zeni to pull. And 15,000 Zeni is EASY to get in this game (so long as you're winning though). All-in-all, this game EATS UP whales' money... and gives them so little in return. Played in tons of games with whales who bought their way into the end of the Season Pass + get some rare Skills... and they can't play for crap. It's like having some luxury sneakers, but all you can do is jog. Trust me, you don't need to pay for this game at all (outside of the initial purchase). Source: Was a level 70 player in the beta, and is currently a level 70 player in the full game. Already have my perfect loadout, and +10'd all of them. Didn't need to pay a drop of coinage to get this stuff - just had to put in the TIME. Seriously, you won't get much from playing this game only every now and again - it expects you to play A LOT.

Oh, and you can bet your bippy that they'll have Thank You Rewards, Maintenance Apology Rewards, etc. So over time, you'll receive free TP Medals and Golden Tickets. Unless you're impatient - you're better off not paying for TP Medals. .................................... That said, if Mercenary Tao shows up as a Survivor in the Season Pass, I'm paying for it immediately. ... It'd be better if he ended up as a Raider, but I'll be happy with a Survivor-version.

would this game run on an AMD 200 or 500 series GPU?

I remember telling a buddy at work that I would play this day one if you can play as a red ribbon grunt running around red ribbon HQ away from kid Goku. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case.

I love playing dragon ball fighterZ and then switching over to breakers when I need an hour break haha it’s dumb fun and I love it! Dragon ball breakers is definitely worth the buy.

I feel the monetization is fine, especially since you can pull with zeni But my main issue is theres nothing like perks or addons like dbd or even picking your skills like in evolve for raiders so raiders will get boring over time It would be nice to play as non-human races for survivor like animal-type earthlings, namekians, majins, ect but eh.

Honestly I would rate this game a B it’s super fun and personally the grind doesn’t feel that bad considering the game is 20 dollars and every match feels fresh and different. Honestly I don’t even notice the maps it’s like fortnite your so caught up in what your doing that you don’t pay attention to anything else. Good game 8/10 would recommend if you like dragon ball and asymmetric games 😀

with 8 premades private match should be a great game

Im sure someone has said it already, but its worth nothing that the Gacha system allows draws with the in-game currency Zeni, which can be earned after every match with no caps on it at all. So if you play enough, you'll be able to earn everything without spending any money outside of the initial $20. They've also been giving away free draws from maintenance, as well as earning draws from linking codes with your friends.

I was looking forward to this as I like it when franchises take a chance and try something new but I must say I was dissapointed during the last beta they threw out. Progression based on RNG, no proximity chat, a very very fking weird camera type that I have never seen before and it makes sense why. No proximity chat and a shitty balance where your team either split up and do not work together so you get clapped as a survivor or you get a decent team where everyone stacks the transformation gauge within few minutes and gangs up on the villain and destroys him with endless juggling combos. I was still gonna give it a chance after the beta but after seeing barely 3k players on steam charts right around launch I decided to skip this even tho I really liked the idea. Its just another nice and different concept that got ruined by the execution...

The amount of crashes is kinda stupid sadly, it happens alot when leveling up a skill in the time chamber. I can't wait for Janemba cause he needed the soul machine to overload to come to life and his cell Hell map would be nice. And Z Broly 💀

20 hours so far and like 10-15 hours playtime in beta. It is fun and I like the game. Raider 10x more fun than survivor 😉

20 bucks is not a bad price by any means. It's a simple straight to the point game that focuses on its goal. My one issue with the game is that if you don't know what's going on, things will feel VERY unbalanced. The more you play and understand the better it gets I Promise. The best part is the game has very rewarding moments for both sides. Being the raider and decimating a team like, sneaking the dragon balls from the enemy, grouping to Molly Whomp the big bad. Makes for a good time every couple of games. But keep in mind. Yin comes with yang. You have every chance of being someone's plaything. It hurts getting killed by Larva Cell literally 20 seconds into the game. But funny as hell if you're him. Personal score (on the globku scale) C+. There's not much content other than the one mode, but the game generates some hype moments organically when you get the hang of what to do and how to play.

Does anyone else’s game never get them into lobby’s

I really like this game but for people looking to buy I I have to recommend you get it on anything but Xbox at the moment cause there are huge wait times on Xbox (kinda self sabotaging Xbox times but meh)

I've seen people saying that the matchmaking is glitched and to disband room and try again after 5 min of no one joining the session. After that happens I usually find 8 people under 40 sec on xbox

Honestly, disbanding a barely-empty room after 2 minutes is the smarter option. Matchmaking shouldn't take longer than 2 minutes. If you've got 6/8 after 2 minutes, stay. Anything less? Quit and rematch.

I really hope it get cross play in the future. While the company states that there is no plan for it, they got to for the longevity for the game.

Dragon Ball the breakers is alot of fun but the only issue that I have is the load times of loading onto matches and 20 minutes later: 3 or more people randomly get kicked out, this is what pisses me off alot

The game needs extreme tweaking its very poorly balanced and they clearly didn't put enough effort for gameplay aspects that should've been in the game day 1. Like having frames that allow you to escape certain attacks or being able to actually revive yourself with a senzu bean that doesn't get you killed because you have zero invincibility frames. Or when you get up nor can you revive yourself when you're fully down with senzus however depending on how you die teammates cannot pick them up either????

Dodging does give you i frames in both transformed and not. There’s also wall of defense move. And the senzu simple enough don’t use them when the raider is next to you they are situational. Then not dropping when your down is because you are able to use them when your downed if they did drop you would not be able to use em

Be happy that there is no crossplay because since yesterday there are cheaters in the PC version and the game does have some gamebreaking bugs like the camera being locked forever in a match.

They've fixed the wait time. That was my complaint during beta too but now i'll get a match in less than 4 minutes

man, battle pass/loot box systems are the end of possible good/fun games. Every game has one of the two, in some case i has both (like DBTB), and they only tank the game. What a nightmare.

do i need ps plus to play the game when i buy it?

A friend of mine has the same issues but worse. He's getting 10-20fps on low settings yet he's got a PC better than mine and I get a consistent 60fps

This game is Hella fun might be my game of the year sure, you win or loose or rage if you don't win as raider but the fact that went all out with raiders animion kills and flying around buu inside is a sign that they went all out on this game

That's probably because it's the Special Edition. On Steam, the game is $20, but the Special Edition is $30. The Special Edition includes the full game plus: Customizable Costume items: Souvenir Jacket (Midnight Black), Skinny Jeans (Black), Slip-On Shoes (Gray), Casual Watch (Black) Victory Pose "Two Handed-Good" Vehicle Skin "Dragon (Yellow)"

I love how ea got a lot a crap for a pay to win system rightfully so but I don’t think nearly enough people are upset at Dimps for the same kind of system

thinking about getting this. This is a different Dragonball game unlike the others and it's refreshing to get to play as a weakling lol.

I feel like this is a game you come back to every now and then, checking out on new stuff and have fun with your friends. I also think that in a few years this game would be super fun if they keep updating it, which i doubt they will

Considering how they’re already making a season 2, I’m pretty sure they will. I mean heck xenoverse still gets updated, so does dbz kakarot. This game definitely has at least a year to 2 left in it, and there’s so many raiders and survivors they can put in the game. They literally have all the materials to keep the game alive for a while

You doubt they'll keep updating it even though they already have plans for Season 2? Just so you know, outside of Prince Vegeta, they also have Zamasu/Black and Broly in the works. Not only that, this is *Dragon Ball* The Breakers, not DBZ, DBS, DBGT. They can pull from any season or gameverse to create more Raiders and Survivors. And they won't even need to do much to create them, since most of them are just re-used assets from XV2. Depending on how many Raiders they release per Season, they can easily make this game last 2-4 years.

​@@vvatchout1 Xenoverse is also a 6 year old game, going into its 7th. You literally can't compare number of content variety that way. Also, fun is subjective. Xenoverse is utterly boring for me, despite me putting over 1200 hours into it. I play it to get Skills to create CaCs, but playing it is so utterly repetitive since you'll use the same Skills in the same exact patterns over - and over - and over - and over again just to get the ONE SKILL THAT JUST WON'T DROP EVEN AFTER PLAYING THE SAME MISSION 50 TIMES. And even after you get it - what's the point? The Offline games are so terribly predictable that you can't really have fun experimenting there - The Online games are so meta-centric that unless you play with friends: you're going to run into the same exact movesets, with the same exact attack patterns for 19 of every 20 games. I'll accept that other people think Xenoverse is fun. But just in the same, people have to accept that other people think The Breakers is fun. I'm having more fun with the Breakers than I ever did with Xenoverse. To each their own.

@@airorello6290 oh don't get me wrong. I know people love xenoverse for many different reasons. I stopped playing it years ago when mui goku came out but I played offline all the time. I refuse to play online against others with that shit online netcode. I may play it again after many years because of gohan beast but that's it. I play fighterz waaay more

​@@mrtegs Here's a question: outside of aesthetics, what point is there to having other Super Attacks? Seriously. Destructo Disc is only meta against Buu. Super Spirit Bomb is so slow and predictable that 9/10 Raiders dodge it, and they don't get as much damage as they should from it. Kaioken is good, but Raiders have gotten used to dodging it. In fact, the commons are the new meta - Dodon spamming is effective against Cell, for instance. Super Ki Blast Volley, the default Super Attack for most Dragon Changes, is the most OP attack in the game due to it 1) Doing consistent damage in mid-range. 2) Stunning enough in long-range. 3) Devastating in close-range. 4) Pressuring Raiders to back away from the Time Machine for a long amount of time. You technically don't need any other Super Attack. Gacha Super Skills AREN'T STRONGER than the regular Supers. They do the same amount of damage in exchange for whatever else: SSBomb is slower and more obvious, but does about the same damage as 1.5x Supers. Dodon is very weak, but far faster to activate. Basically doing the same amount of damage in the same amount of time, but with multiple hits required. Masenko is slightly stronger than Dodon, but slightly slower to activate. Burning attack has the projectile speed of Dodon with the damage of Masenko, but the startup is slow. Destructo Disc isn't as strong as Kamehameha, but it can home in on its target. Kaioken requires melee which is easy to counter, but it does decent damage and can activate quickly. Wolf Fang Fist is weaker than Kaioken and is slower to activate, but it stalls the enemy longer for time. Kamehameha does a little more damage than the default Super Ki Blast, but it's more telegraphed. Basically? Supers don't make you stronger in this game. They're cosmetic and situationally-strategic, if anything.

I like dragon ball the breakers but one thing that annoys me is how a low level raider can get in a match with level 30 to 40 survivors making it near impossible to win cause of how much the survivors know about the game

imo the most annoying part about this game is the matchmaking, its honestly so jarring waiting for a match for 20 minutes

@@Versitax It's not. I would rather use nimbus because at least that isn't guaranteed to get everyone killed. Not only does pod have a three min CD but it takes forever to land, causes a large and loud explosion when it does, shows where it's landing to the raider, takes forever to even get into, can be destroyed both before you get in and after, and if destroyed after you are insta downed, when it lands it makes it super obvious where it's going due to the red trail it leaves as well as the explosion it causes when landing. And on to of all of that it can STILL stun you if you are too close to the blast radius. TOTAL AND ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. Nothing can make up for this amount of cons.

I love it but yeah The Progress System is awfully Slow

Crossplay needs implemented and they need to look at there progression model the game itself is fun though but if you wanted this business model why not make the game free?

this game have a lot of potential but not enough content and i also don't like this business model on a paid game

NGL Game JUST came out and i know alot of people are mad at only three raiders.. the BIG three where Told to be on release, being Frieza.. Cell and Majin buu they already announced Great ape Vegeta and most likely hes coming with an Anime skin, granted i think making Farmer at the END of the battle pass is.. a bit dirty.. but still its 20$ and its a party game.. Proxy chat.. would be better or maybe we need to let this game sit at 20$ its a small game with used Xenoverse assets since it comes from the same company and also takes place in XENOVERSE timeline, but the priority System for raider is good.. granted wait times are kind of annoying but that can be fixed in Hotfixes.. games a good C or C+ more updates and Raiders will make the game better.. give it time don't expect a AAA game for 20$ its good to play with friends and maybe alone but it just came out and we need to let it grow

Console. PCs have hackers at the moment - which most likely won't be resolved any time soon. Matchmaking is a bit of an issue on console, but just quit matchmaking after it's reached 2 minutes and rejoin. Most rooms fill out in the first two minutes - after that, they're treated as a "back room".

the launching with 3 killers was also how dbd started, they don't have to start out with a giant roster but if bandai wants this game to last beyond 1 team of whales playing it they do need to make sure dimps has enough staff to keep content flowing at a consistent rate without fast content, most of the asymmetrical fanbase will abandon it.. the sad case of the "DbD genre"

Suprised you didn't talk about how bad it actually is like from a coding/ mechanics cuz ign actually did a good job on that

Energy sensing is kinda bullshit. I can evade perfectly and hide and the raiders just presses a button and finds me instantly.

Use Oolong's Change ability. It's the only Skill that hides Ki. Other than that, get as far away from the Raider and then Cower. Cowering shrinks the size of your Ki - if you're far enough, you won't appear at all on their screen.

i think this game ends up like fall guys, starts paying they see that there are few players online and make it free to play

didn't spend any additional money and got all skills, except 2. its totally not pay 2 win

If you've a NAT type 3 connection then don't bother. This is one of those games that restrict connections with others based on your NAT. So most college students who live on campus have to suffer.

Damn vid came out quick lol

I think the game needed a tad more content to help it stand out in between games like Friday the 13th and DbD, at least for me. The gameplay loop for survival games like these just gets kinda boring to me. It might become more appealing to me when season 2 comes out but right now nothing is selling me on the game. I'm also not a fan of gacha mechanics or battle pass type systems as I think they are normally really annoying and scummy with how you eventually have to spend money to rank up on the tiers. Again, that's just me. Yeah it's a fair deal at $20, and if people like it and have fun with it then more power to them, but I'm not gonna spend my money on a game I'm not interested in, regardless on how good of a deal it is.
