So we do have a confirmation that the recent demo gameplay is still the same from SGF, but if you compare SSJ3 Goku's model to the first reveal Rivals trailer, Goku has definitely been buffed up compared side by side. The gameplay also have improved a lot with less camera shake and smoother combat. We still have a few months left, so hopefully thing will continue to improve!

It's the Gi, it makes him look a bit larger in the chest area. Also it can't be the same build and have a slightly edited version of a character, because then it wouldn't be the same build, I worked on these kinds of things, even a few changes would have to be acounted for by changing build version numbers.

7:30 slow down to 0.25 the model is buffed only for a few seconds they took notes from Fighter Z, you can see it reverting to the old model when u slow it down

Yeah i noticed that too, i think it’s just placeholder for now. Like they have the rendered cutscene finished, but the actual model isn’t done yet. So after the cutscene and it went back to gameplay the model slimmed back down.

It does look like the model was tweaked a bit. Imo you see it more around the traps rather than the shoulder. Its difficult to see the difference in the shoulders considering they’ve made the layers of clothing thicker and more organic looking

He is bigger, I draw and I immediately noticed how his traps were not only wider but bigger that it looks like they were raised up, the arms too I could tell by the bicep that it was bigger wider and his shoulders are noticeably wider, you can tell the forearms also are beefier

Probably the battle damaged 3D Model wasnt updated yet, but the normal outfit yes. Thats why.

It's just the frame. The bottom has the electricity, battle damage, and a different source of lighting. We're mainly comparing the actual model.

Okay yall dont hate me but with the higher resolution this is really noticeable to me. Why does it seem like Gokus hair when he transforms is super stiff for like half of the transformation? I thought before it was flowly for the entire transformation but now it seems stuff until the 2nd half of the transformation.... like the last few seconds. It needs to start flowing as soon as the transformation starts I feel like?? I mean its very noticeable. It should flow the entire time like when he is charging. A nitpick I know but this is Unreal Engine 5 and even the first game play trailer looked better with the hair.

There're a number of unpolished models in the trailers. Have you seen Kale's face? Sheesh. I just hope they'll try to fix them all before release. Like, you know what's especially jarring to me? SS 1-to-3 hair should be almost white normally, and banana-yellow only when the aura is up! It's crazy how there's no game that does this. That's why Tenkaichi's Goku Mid's hair are so appreciated, it wasn't just the lack of lines... Sparking Zero's on the other hand just looks wobbly. EDIT: Wait! Wait! Wait! Look at Goku's Mugshot - near the HP bar! The hair color! Just checked other vids - it's the same for other SS too! Could it be that's what they're aiming at for the final build?? Can we finally have the saturated color only when the aura is up?? Finger crossed for this iconic detail finally being in a game!

I like the model more, he does look bulkier but the hair in the older picture looks better to me. Could just be the aura effect though idk.

Ihad 3 issues with SS3 GOKU 1st one being his Hair too thin on the sides and not enough volumetric 2nd his facial design/traits and expressions being weird compared to other Goku forms. 3rd was the bulkiness being not present at all, he almost has the SSG/SSB musculature which is not accurate to how he is in Z and SS3 Ihope they can fix it cuz ss3 is my fav Goku form

It’s looking like UI Goku is gonna be its own character, much like Ultimate Gohan in the old games. With the way the HUD is laid out each character only has enough space to fit 4 transformations (5 including base), so unless they do something where you have to go to Sign before MUI, it wouldn’t work

@@Z00PG00P not really, the video slo put before this one shows transforlations in a different way, take a closer look, and you will see that you can only transform to a higher transformation and base, rather than all at once, and that is a good way to include more transformations.

@@YFT Good catch but I think the reason is because they only had 1 transformation stock (or whatever you’d call the number next to the transformation icon). Higher transformations cost more if you’re skipping forms (ie. Base -> SSJ = 1 stock, while Base -> SSJ 2 = 2 stocks). That’s how it’s been since BT2 and I doubt they’d change that
