Not much an issue, was like that in Tenkaichi 3 and everyone loved it. They'll likely have them split by their arcs. Goku had Kid, Start of Z, Middle of Z and End of Z and each one had different transformations they could do. Start of Z had Kaioken at most, Middle had SSJ1 and End had all his transformations at the time. GT Goku has all transforms except SSJ4 which was made a separate character slot because the model is drastically different in terms of height and such.

Budokai Tenkaichi allowed you play as all sayians with Great Ape forms. Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz, Bardock and his crew, King Vegeta had one too. Giant characters from movies were also playable and had a hell of an advantage because rush moves bounced off so you had to use beam moves to do damage to them.

Are they going to add the gt characters like ssj4?

It’s disappointing there isn’t a release date but it’s also a fantastic thing. Because that means the devs aren’t under a time constraints and can actually prefect all aspects of this game, so we won’t get a Witcher or a CP2077 incident.
