They talked about that on an interview and it seems that the new gen hardware is not build for that and it's hard to implement. Maybe not at launch but in the future of the games since they want to improve it over time

Back in the early 2000's, I played the heck out of every Dragon Ball Game I could get, the Budokai series being a big part of that. Just this week, a friend who I would play these games with got back into touch after years since we last saw each other, all because he remembered how much we loved talking about and playing Dragon Ball games, this is the impact Dragon Ball has on people. The essence of tenkaichi is there which is great but i feel like attacks need to either be snappoer or have more impact. The camera angle is a bit too dynamic and close up and can jerk around at times. It overal makes you feel like youre too hard locked to the opponent. What was great about the older games is that they had all those things. This just needs more refinement

Looks great, but there is a big lack of impact when the Final Flash hits Goku. Really need to work on that and make the explosion effect more impressive. And in general impacts should be way more powerful.

This is purely amazing! But one thing I feel y’all should add is the aura being present. Not just when they charge up. Like make it where the more KI you have the more present it is Just like BT3

Look at that environment change! The transformation mid-battle, destruction.... Budokai Tenkaichi is FINALLY BACK!!

Not bad, could use refinement mostly in the hud, but not bad I just feel my major thing is the attacks don't feel like they have the same impact with beams being too small and heavy hits not having the same kind of stun animation showing the pure power of the attack, I think adding the bulge from Burst limit when characters get hit with a heavy would do a lot for the impact and make the game feel even better

@@vvatchout1 Yeah I understand that, but I see my friends all the time even when we are "adulting" our lives away. It's much easier to pass the controller to a friend and have a blast with a game in a group irl compared to hopping lobbies, setting up matches and trying to get everyone to play on the same platform without any issues. Not all of my friends own the newest consoles, nor are they willing to buy one for one game. Some might have older PCs and some might have shitty internet connection. Ofc it comes down to preference, but to take away a feature that literally made this game is just lame and people should be against that. A fighting game without co-op is just wrong lol.

@Furcapper oh no of course. I understand that. I grew up with the super nintendo and sega and co op was always there and fun. But of course I was a kid at the time. No online stuff even existed back then. Halo 5 pulled this shit as well. No co op and backfired on them. But I feel like for sparking zero it won't be too much of a hassle. Atleast on paper

Eventhough this game looks incredible, I still think that not having local multiplayer is an offense to the fans. I mean, what made the Tenkaichi series great was the capability of playing side by side with our friends/cousins and feeling that sensation of wining a match. So the lack of this feature really makes me wonder if it would buy a new console to play it.😢

it's really interesting how there is now a short dash, I assume this will be the main movement within the Step-In Barrier, which sounds Xenoversey, but if you can dash cancel them, it might become something way better than that, the fact is goes diagonal as well is interesting, I'm hyped to see what kind of movement options will be opened up by this I would love to know whether you have movement freedom after using Rushing Techniques, RB removed that and it sucked, using Flying Kicks to move behind the opponent was a really cool strategy in BT3 in BT2 and BT3, Ki Blasts could be used as a combo extension, as a mixup, as a B2 setup, as a poking tool, but in this showcase, there was very little use of them, and they were never followed up on, which is weird. Ki Blasts are half of Tenkaichis whole meta, you'd think they'd at least show a combo extension or smth And of course, the Deflection/Rush Counter is balanced by requiring 2 Blast Stocks, god bless em for adding that, all in all they seem to lay a much bigger focus on Ki and Stock management than before, which means players will have to keep that in mind, I really like that (also hell yeah BT2 style Ki Bars lets gooo)

Make the clothes have more variations of armor break, even the same suit have 2 or 3 armor breaks, and the enviroments destroyable like tenkaichi 3 and ultimate tenkaichi (especially ultimate, that was awesome), and it would be awesome if you could customize which techniques they could use like raging blast 2. I can't wait for this

Looking great, please take your time to optimize the game as much and make the gameplay as enjoyable as possible.

to the dev team guys something i want to propose and maybe consider can you ad screaming vo during the clashing beam struggles like the show would be awesome just a thought rather than the characters sitting there waiting for the clashing to end it will make it more powerful impactful and immersive take care!

Final flash isn’t supposed to look like a yellow kamehameha it has a wide spread and very spikey on the energy wave edge

Mechanics 9/10 Environment 6.5/10 Effects 10/10 Fighters graphic 7.5/10 Looking good! Keep it up! If you could make the environment style more similar to the fighters or effects style it will be great. Also, the fighters look a little less impressive in actual gameplay than in what we saw earlier, but im sure youll get than right in no time

Small recommendation of not going so hard with the camera shake or remove it whenever something happens as it can often take away from the obvious spectical you have to show us and distract slower players from whats going on. Much love from the UK and I look forward to this.

Don't forget to add the otherworld tournament arena and have king kai's planet as level.

just now getting into the fight scene how would the combat even work competitively

game looks amazing soo far! few nitpicks though, beams seem to lack power in terms of effects or size. vegetas final flash seemed a bit too small as well as goku blue kamehameha seemed a bit too small. some attack animation seem to lack power as well when in comes to impact, for exmaple when goku blue did his super attack animation the build up was good but the follow through was underpowered. although i understand its still early build. apart from that the mechanics seem faithful to the old game and i cant wait to see the new mechanics in action. graphics look stunning as well as the enviroment, my jaw dropped when i saw the city map and the destructable enviroment. i cant wait to see this game in its full release.

One of the few things I'm not liking about the game is the exaggerated amount of visual effects. I think this could be a problem for a lot of people, just looking at the Gameplay, I have felt a slight headache. I hope they can add some option to reduce the visual effects. Removing that, the truth is that it shows that they are doing everything possible to May the game be as good as Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was at the time. I hope they continue like this and show us that this game is made for Dragon Ball fans.

I am not the one who has to stop playing, it is the multi-million dollar company that should think about all its players, in order to be able to create a community in which even people with a slight disability can play a video game. I'm not the one who has to stop playing, you need to have more empathy with people.

I dream that we don’t have dlc for this game or at least that it have all the characters that were present in tenkaichi 3.

Very impressed with the trailer and the teams hard work but some complaints I have are attacks like kamehameha not really feeling IM the one doing it, I need beam of light when I charge it up and the screen to darken temporarily while I do it. Also the lack of impact from beams, adding sound effects to beams and such would make the impact much better right it kinda just feels lame and I have no satisfaction doing a beam struggle.

Game looks amazing, and I know it's still in development and i bet they're still working on things shown in the video, but still here's my list of negatives: 1. 2:16 Intros feel way too stiff 2. 2:31 You start way too close to the enemy, at least give 2 seconds to move around before damage can be dealt ( with a "FIGHT" indicator of some sort ) 3. 2:38 the sfx of these punches are very underwhelming, some better more satisfying punch sounds would be better imo 4. 3:16 and 3:43 not a fan of the beam simply pausing for a second when you get hit by it, probably better to just make it instantly explode on contact or pass through the character. 5. 4:59 I'm not a fan of this mechanic where if you go full power you're forced into a sort of burst mode where you lose all your ki, why not make it an option to go into that mode while keeping the ki at full power like in raging blast 2? although it could also be seen as a sort of transformation like in the naruto storm games, which would depend on how they manage it 6. 5:19 I'm not sure if the "R2 BOOST" is an option you obtain while being in the burst mode, giving you an advantage in the beam clash over the opponent that isn't in burst mode, but I really hope it is. It seems very unfair that someone spending their entire meter should equally clash with someone just spending a couple bars. It's also a great idea since you would try to avoid or block the attack instead of wanting to clash with it if you know their in the burst mode, and if you're both in burst mode then it's a fair and epic clash. Any opinions?

Oh i noticed that after that burst mode ended,Goku's ki bars didn't go to zero if you noticed it is stil full so i think that is just the blue ki bars thing that was in bt3(the thing that allowed you to use ult) just this time they made it purple and they made it change envirement i could be totally wrong tho

(the animations remind me of the ps2 but instead at 60 fps.) (the hud looks a bit too much like a xenoverse game.) (the transformations don't have a snap, pop, or crackle to them, just an underwhelming wind gust sound.) (the fighting animations for ssgss look a bit slow.) (and lastly, everything just feels out of sync... like listening to your favorite song but the beat drops are completely delayed.) the single 3 biggest things that would make this game look a lot better, would be fixing the hud, making the background and environment look less realistic and more anime like, and making the character models less shiny. this game looks more like xenoverse 3 to me if anything. but in a perfect world, this game would be a dragon ball fighterz port, capped at 30 fps and all.

Rest in Peace Akira Toriyama The Real Legendary Super Saiyan. 🙏 Everything in this looks mindblowing and amazing, me and milions/bilions of people will have this Dragonball dream game finally come true!! The hype is real I hope we will also have Dragonball GT and also Budokai Tenkaichi 2-3 OST would be amazing would bring alot of good nostalgia... After Z, GT was one of my very favorite series and was also in the previous budokai tenkaichi games! Hopefully it will be included in the game or if not, please add as DLC atleast! Its all part of Akira's masterpiece, we must honor him at all costs

I hope we can also see a sequel to Dragon Ball Budokai 3 / Infinite world series.
