Havent been this excited for a release since Xenoverse 2, which was the first game i ever pre ordered when i was 14.

I bought the standard edition. Assuming I like the game and how it plays, I will more than happily pick up the Season Pass and other DLC later. The only thing I’m missing out on is the ability to play it 3 days early.

about the release dates, here in the brazilian steam the game also releases in october 10 and early access is in october 7. i guess its just timezones really, the versions should come out in the same time but different timezones or south america is being considered the same as japan lol

I bought my first Collector edition ever with this game. I bought it on PS5 but I'm not much of a PVP guy so the cross play issue doesn't affect me that much. Anyway I can't wait to try all the aspects of the game :D

I went and bought the Ultimate Edition on the PS Store. Originally I went for the P.CE, but decided to be smarter and downgrade because I had some PSN Credit from a Gift card that could chop down that price a bit... and I'd actually be able to take advantage of the 3 days early. lol

I got the standard edition for my ps5. Other add ons will be purchased separately in the near future.

You actually missed one of the editions there is a regular collectors edition too I think it’s EU Exclusive it comes with the statue, ultimate edition, and metallic bookmarks but no steelbook or cards

Do you get the digital bonus stuff with the premium collectors edition? And do you also get the 3 day early access with it?

I’ve never bought a collectors edition of anything. But the Budokai Tenkaichi series is such a big part of my childhood that I just had to bite bullet on that collectors edition. Hope the quality on that statue is pretty good.

Hey, Goresh, I know you said the "Ultimate Edition" and "Deluxe Edition" are digital multiple times, but is their a chance it comes with a physical copy, also? I'm seeing on Amazon, Gamestop, and Bandai Namco promoting it with a physical version with it, even in description (I bought the Ultimate Edition already). Knowing Bandai, they might restock. They did it with Elden Ring where i missed the first wave and then nearing the games launch, they had more available for purchase. Just keep a close eye on the store page for a restock. Good luck!

Am I the only one thinking that the character you get from the pre-order bonus could be beast gohan? I feel this might be the likely option to put as a pre-order bonus and yes I know Super Hero would be getting DLC in this game, but I think it could be for other characters than Beast Gohan himself because not having Beast Gohan day 1 feels kinda off if I am being real.

I'll be getting the PS5 version, and probably the deluxe edition just so the initial DLC is sorted. Also, GT VERY likely won't be in the base game at all, GT or original Dragon Ball. GT is probably going to be DLC, but we know that the initial DLC is Super Hero and Daima related, so the first three DLC packs. I would not expect GT to be in the game in the near future. Also, also, imagine if the secret character was a brand new transformation from Daima.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Japan has the sound version and US doesn't is because they might try to get the dubbed songs in as I know alot of people who really prefer the English covers of the Dragon ball OST
