There’s actually an implication that they might have base forms, but we don’t see if that is true or not in the manga. They don’t get much of a focus in the manga after all.

They labeled him Goku (SUPER) ui sign, so he is likely a transformation with goku (super) since Majin Vegeta isn’t labeled (Z-end) despite being the same time period.

UI Sign is listed under Goku (Super) at 2:13 so MUI might be a separate character or they're both together. if they're both under Goku (Super) then you might be able to transform from base into SSJ, SSG, SSB, or UI Sign but won't be able to transform into MUI from any form other than UI Sign if the transformation menu is the same with four slots only. if i remember correctly Raging Blast 1 did something similar with some characters.

When you take into consideration the core base Z characters you already have at least 40 characters you can safety predict from following the sayian saga to Buu saga and the Bardock special based on the empty Hexagons alone. Which means theirs only like 22 characters that are up for grabs. The majority of them will probably be a combination of Super and OG Dragon Ball

Everyone's gassing up the roster but this game has 3 more characters than bt3 so let's think about it. So far they have hardly shown any z and there have been 48 confirmed super characters. Not including those they might show like cabba, or the other trio de danger dogs. They're adding yajirobe and spopovich so they're adding the irrelevant z characters and possibly og db but who knows, more likely than not. Can you think of 45 disposable bt3 characters when they're trying to retell dragon balls story and keep the small characters clearly? There's simply not enough roster space

If i was a betting man, from base you have the choices to go either ssj, ssjg, and sign will be like gohan great saiyaman transformation were you need to go back to base to go into the instincts tree

Love your reactions. I loved the trailer and every character that got showed off, especially Dabura and Yajirobe!!! Also the TOP stage is looking really fun to play on.

100% movie characters are going to be DLC. I checked some of the numbers and saw wrote down all the confirmed characters that are most likely going to be in the game that we haven't seen yet like Frieza, Cell and Buu forms. There's still plenty of space for at least 20ish GT characters. But if not and they replace those spots with t.o.p characters, I'm not going to be mad at it

As unlikely as it is, I'd love to see guest characters from other Toriyama works. Sand Land released a couple months back, so they could add in Beelzebub and Muniel, maybe Arale from Dr. Slump, just something to help celebrate not just Dragon Ball, but some of his other works too.

Any non-DB character they put in is one more DB character we don't get in the DB game. Maybe there could be a future dlc pack that's all characters from other Toriyama works, that'd be cool.

Chiaotzu needs to be in the game, he is my favorite character in the entire franchise, my main in bt3, and he just deserves to be apart of this masterpiece he gets mistreated way to much.

What I found weird is them specifying Goku (super) instead of just straight UI Sign~ Goku. Why do that if he's a separate character. I get Goku early because its the only Goku that doesn't transform but why adding distinction for UI. As an example Majin Vegeta doesn't specify late Z Vegeta because there's no need neither did Ultimate Gohan at the time. I have a feeling UI will be treated as another thing (a third slot), there will be transformation from SS to Blue for 1st slot, Gogeta for 2nd slot and a 3rd slot for UI but the cost to transform will be high.

"We already did Jiren" Actually Globku, when Jiren was announced, on the official Bandai Namco blog posted at the time of the trailer, they confirmed it was Full Power Jiren specifically. So Base Jiren is a new confirmation. Also UI Sign is awesome! Funny enough, if he is a truly unique character, that means you can have five Gokus on a team. Goku (Early), Goku (Mid), Goku (End), Goku (Super), and Goku (Super) UI/MUI.

Basically it’ll be Goku(super) with all his transformations and it’ll also be goku(super)(Ui sign) since Ui sign technically can transform into Full ultra instinct.

Minute 1:54, Dabura's voice when he's attacked by Anilaza sounds strange/ different from the one during is attack on Mr Satan, or is this a leak about another King? 🤔 King Vegeta perhaps? 🤔

You might be able to pick what transformations you can use if theirs more than 4 for a character

I think UI Sign is Goku Super’s 4th form but once you use it then it reveals the 4th transformation which is MUI. Meaning you can’t go from SSB to MUI without hitting UIS first.

I think with the What-If scenarios of this game we might have some characters being What-If variations. We might even see the return of SS3 Vegeta and Tiencha.

GT and SS4 will be in given how popular they are. There are still a lot of slot out there and even if they didn't come with the game they will come as DLC characte.

I think there might be transformation routes. Kind of like how to go into great saiyaman u have to be base gohan. My theory is either you could only transform into sign in base and/or if you take enough damage the option pops up

For anyone speculating if UI sign is it’s own Char Slot. The beginning of the trailer makes it seem so by giving him the spot next to cell and great ape

But yes, I agree that all will be one character due to them all being labeled as Goku (Super) (implying the same character is using these forms) and the possibility that UI may be locked until Goku has activated UI Sign.

Secondly it's his belt/sash he uses to tie his pants. During the tournament of power, it was his normal one not the one he had in the Broly. Maybe it could be an alternate costume, but I kind of think it's going to be one character character since of the website also is stating that it will be Goku (Super)

Or, hear me out. UI Sign is the last form DBS Goku can transform to, BUT, he can only use complete UI once he uses UI Sign. That way, no more than 4 transformation slots can be accounted for and Goku can access all his forms. It makes sense considering they are each labeled as Goku (SUPER) Ultra Instinct -Sign- and Goku (SUPER) Ultra Instinct.

Do people not realize that this geme has 3 more characters than bt3 and already 48 confirmed super characters. They might have more like cabba etc but i hope not. Theres no chance for gt or movie characters at this point.

They can just make Goku Super early/mid (from base to blue) and Goku Super late/tournament of power (base-sign-UI or base-blue-sign-UI). That would also give chance for anime's Vegeta blue evolution to appear

If it’s a character in the manga with its own name it’s probably never showing up in the game. Copyright issues and whatnot

None of them did anything in the human forms, so I would only count of them showing up in the battle intros if anything.

I think that the 4 transformation for goku super are ssj,ssg,ssb, and ui sign but while your in sign you can transform to mui just like how the great saiyan man is for gohan

I think Ui Goku wont be a whole new character separate from Goku (Super) because UI Goku had the (Super) title but I might be wrong

I bet due to the cost system in the ranked gamemode, they wanted to keep UI Sign - Ui Goku as a seperate character as it would be a very high cost character

UI sign will be its own character with MUI as his transformation

Why is it an issue if a character has more transformations. If they choose to allow you to equip or unequip them it's fine

I'm guessing it's gonna be like Gohans Saiyaman transformation Base goku (super) probably can access it but probably cant in super sayain

Or SSG or SSB. UI Sign should be locked behind base Goku and UI should be locked behind UI Sign. Also, here's to hoping the shirt doesn't rip everytime you wanna use UI Sign or UI. I want my different costumes to stay on. Whis Gi + UI would be absolutely fire 🔥

@righteousone5119 basically, I only think the costume change will be automatic for the UIs Like SSJ 4 goku won't have a gi version, it's just automatic for the form to be shirtless

So I looked at the roster at the end. Putting in the obvious necessary characters and confirmed characters like… Jaco. (Yes he was somewhat confirmed, when going through titles for custom match there was one that had something about Galactic Patrol.) There are around 32 slots left for GT and Movie Characters to appear in. Also Magetta because it would be funny.
