I was in pain too :). When I see the care I take with my own collection... Figurines taken out of the boxes and displayed, but stored on a shelf away from direct light and in a non-smoking home. They don't risk much.

S.H.Figuarts. Some are quite easy to find in specialized stores or online, but some are no longer produced, or were originally in special or limited editions. And some are now worth several hundred dollars or euros, even on the second-hand market.
