From my experience Master Roshi can actually counter him well…. 1) his green card & 2) his sealing ability. Obviously ULTRA Gogeta Blue is still far superior

17 is really one insanity of a unit while also not being toxic. most people would probably complain about how he makes his teams much better defensively or the double vanish but he's not an unstoppable force of nature that ruins your pvp experience since you can still play around him which is are the types of top-tier units we need more that we can still play around against

One of the most underrated units on release. People used to clown 17 in his first week but after a while people discovered how awesome of a unit is. The devs really found the sweet spot for his kit. He's not brain dead as beast/UGB but actually does his job so well while not being so toxic similar to future gohan. He's gonna age very well.

I’d place revival Ui in the same tier. He’s not as good as 17, but he offers immense value in a rush heavy meta. People are upset he isn’t a top 3 unit, yet would endlessly complain if he were as op as UGB. Not every unit has to brake the game.

Right off the bat, I think UI is hella underrated. I got the dude at 4 stars and he holds his own in top 1k pvp. His damage is really good both before and after revival, and his only weakness is Gogeta Blue (which is a purple whoaaa).

I'm so shocked that UL ssb Gogeta is the number 1 unit. I love his counter! very uncounterable for blast arts.

If you don't have Hit, you never know how good he is. His time skip incinerate all yellow unit in the game, his critical rate ignores the defenses of the enemies. In combo with n17 and Roshi, or Jiren, is a deadly team for any team of the game.

I had times in which my blue Zamasu got wiped by this Ultra hit in top rank once he activated his time skip. The dude is scary to go against.

In high ranks if you get his Time skip off on a unit like UGB or Beast Gohan or someone with endurance other than #17 then i can tell you for a fact that Hit is going to incinerate that unit regards of type disadvantage

Sooner or later if a unit doesn’t have triple card draw speed, +200% inflicted dmg on main and nullify endurance + revive, the unit will be mid. Power Creep in this game is INSANE

I know Goresh said that he would leave some things out for the tag 4s but one very important thing that he left out is how they seal blue cards for three counts whenever using strike or blast cards while in Goku. I really like that part of them because 1. Cover changes that can combo into blue cards are meaningless. And 2. Gogeta's gauge is meaningless because he wouldn't be able to use the blue card gained from the gauge. That's why I love to use the tag 4s such an easy counter to Gogeta's gauge.

Same. I think the 4s have tons of utility in the little things they do in the background like destroying dragon balls, gaining dragon balls, deleting buffs and clearing debuffs, vanish restore and stuff like that that makes them really good

Once we see a regen character get a zenkai I think we all know what that means 🦅🦅

I think that LF zenkai ssj4 cover rescue only activates twice on a GT Team is what was needed to prevent son Family even more broken Back then but is leading to the issue right now which is him being bound to GT.

They should make it so tag-characters are a mini counter to the seal effect to where it lock’s you out of the tag-character who got sealed but you can still use the one who isn’t sealed

Wait Goresh talking about TV made me realize how dependent and intentional releases are for the meta atm. Cooler to get rid of vegito (to make way for the new yel TV), beast to get rid of cooler (so TV wouldn’t be dead on arrival), then the ssj4s (as well as the ui about to release) for beast(and the 17 about to release), then TV who would help keep GB in check when he released which would also keep the ssj4s prominent. But then they undertuned TV which just let GB run wild. I think from GB forward it was supposed to be GB protects 17 from ssj4s, and then with hit slowing TV down and the release of UI it would become this RPS of “I’ll run GB but TV, so TV but Hit, so Hit but 17/beast, so 17/beast but UI/ssj4s, so UI/ssj4s but GB” but they made TV way too weak so now GB just stops the choice at “I’m running GB and no can do a thing about it”

Maybe do a list of free to play units ranked? Would be interesting to see which f2p units are viable in the current meta.

I think tag 4s weren't as affected as Goresh makes them out to be I use GT with Gogeta in the leader slot and the team works really well they don't take much damage but obviously aren't as defensively strong as 17

I lost a match trying to LF Gogeta with revival UI because I forgot about Gogeta's gauge. It's been so fun not having Beast or Gogeta, but the tag 4's have carried me very well. Gonna get them to 9 stars with the Limit Break banner

I kind of want to see a revisit of beast with a lot of zenkai buffs. I loved the vegeta and trunks 5x zenkai buff video

I agree so much with your opinion on Zamasu, being a f2p player haven’t gotten LF 17 yet and Zamasu is my go to until then. I just threw him in my leader slot with revival ui and roshi and I feel like Zamasu just provides so much. 17 is just superior in every way tho :/

Although I have stopped playing the game quite a while ago. LF 17 is what the game needed as new unit. Not absurdly broken and neither is it going to let the opponents absurdly broken units ruin the game for you. He is like a wall they can't just quickly get rid off. Much like his role in the anime during tournament of power. A persistent guy that refuses to die. True MVP

When we get a strike counter unit just like his unique gauge is then he’ll be even more valuable

17 UGB and Blue Zamasu is probably the best trio because of how ui and 4's can carry the green element

As of right now im running Hit, 17, and Roshi. This team is nasty with mui jiren and bergamo on bench

I have a question, maybe its stupid. After the revival, does he keep his previous buffs? The ones that are uncancelable and the stackable ones ?

We need GT units with unique gauge and revival, LOE needs a super defensive unit and a zenkia, an ultra for perfect cell, regen needs a new LF and a zenkia.

I think it’s very possible that we get a rival universe banner very soon to help carve out a team for hit

I've been using universe rep lately with revival ui goku 17 hit and roshi depending the opponent I may use roshi or hit

What's crazy for me is the amount of DMG gohan does without boost

Gogeta makes beast gohan fun to play against and that is concerning

Since every new unit going to have better reduce dmg received with now at 65%. It silently nerfing the old zenkai to perform better, with how many zenkai unit already are, i think they should released unique eq just for zenkai unit. Instead of for example: eg: Purple > melee type, they make or awaken to Purple > zenkai 7. So all Purple zenkai 7 only can use that eq.

I hate this damage reduction creep. It's so dumb. At some point if the game survives long enough characters are gonna have 95%-99% reduced damage received and how well you tank is gonna be based on where you lie in that range. I don't think the game is gonna last long enough for that but they really didn't think this out in the long term. Imo just power creeping defensive stats instead of adding base damage reduction to every character would have been the right play.

From my experience the hardest to kill is beast,2nd ultra gogeta blue right after him hit.Ultra vageto wasn't that much of a troublesome for me.oh of course there is that annoying android 17.

what if we get a ultra Vegito Blue? what will he be able to do? im curious

I feel like since future is getting kind of weak and vegeta clan needs to be revived they may drop a Black Tanktop Trunks alongside a sparking future gohan and a 18 that revives ito 17 (even though trunks obliterated them in the fight). If not the sparkings then future could use a simple zenkai like Yellow rage trunks or they wanna go crazy they can do Mai or green goku black and actually make him viable (ik it would be alot of green zenkais but he is really fun and is a great unit).

I've been using gt 4 monkeys, gogeta 4, and gt 17 with the 3 zenkais for the first two all of them above 7 stars but not maxed and they do and take a lot of damage, even against hit or gogeta blue at the point of almost one shoting them with a blue card of monkey boys.

next meta defining unit - ultra vb prolly is going to be a strike version of gogetas counter where the animation is prolly when he counters zamasu with his spirit sword.If this happens prolly going to dethrone gogeta as almost all top units have strike based supers except 17

what is the best team without ulg?

I’ve lost so many games just because the opponent is using Gogeta Blue. There’s been many situations where he has a full unique gauge and I have a full hand of blasts. If I attack I die, if I don’t do anything I die, it’s just a guaranteed win because of how oppressive his unique gauge is.

I struggle against Hit and UGB the most. Hit in particular, just steamrolls my LoE team. He catches you once and just pulverizes you.

GRN UI Goku once he's off the feature boost, he's gonna fall off *VERY* quickly which is a shame cos he's a very enjoyable unit. That Roshi-UI combo is the most annoying combo atm and I'm enjoying all of it

We’ve been on such a long streak of really well designed units so I feel they’re going to make another LF cooler unit who just deletes GB from the game

imagine running a blue blue setup with gogeta bluewiht 17 and zamasu !!

With my luck I would have to spend 500 dollar just to get one ultra that came out and the new LFs. I only have to free to play ultras and none of the new LFs

Roshi is also ftp friendly cause he is not legend limited or UL

because of equipments, top17 won't be good on hybrids or most other teams that aren't universe reps.

I disagree with where you put Hit. I would personally put him above Roshi, since I view the Timeskip as a better mechanic due to it killing the enemy rather than just sealing. Furthermore, I feel like Hit’s abilities beyond his timeskip are far greater than Roshi’s abilities beyond his seal.
