Why cant the dragon ball movie be this epic?

I think we can all agree that we want more adventures of the guy in Sunglasses as he stumbles throughout a world of super powered martial artists fighting for shinies.

This has got to be the best Dragon Ball thing ever.

how is it possible hollywood had a multi million dollar budget, years of material to draw from and some decent talent and they came up with the turgid dragonball evolution and yet, two fans with a love for the material, practically no money and just the skills they posses can make a dragonball love letter that not only surpasses the majority of hollywood fight scenes but could look right at home on one of them. That was epic
