Especially Nappa's on Yamchas.

I think fighterZ is probably one of the more complete dbz games in terms of visual fidelity and character variety but it is a fighting game wich requires a bit of training to learn each character's moves, still it is very fun to play!

My personal top 3 mains are Hit, Gogeta blue, and Vegito. Unfortunately this video is a little out of date and missed the newest absolutely broken character, lab coat android 21.

As an avid FighterZ player, I also think this is out of let field nor am I complaining

36:04 okay Kit. So, Goku first, then we get to Vegeta. When Goku married Chichi and had Gohan, Goku had completely retired from fighting to raise Gohan. For years Goku was just raising his son, being a regular dad. And then Raditz shows up, kidnaps Gohan and wipes the floor with Goku and Piccolo. Goku then sacrifices his own life to save Gohan by restraining Raditz long enough for Piccolo to kill him. Piccolo kidnaps Gohan and throws him to the wolves, literally, and doesn’t actually show himself to train Gohan for months, leaving a toddler alone in the wild with dinosaurs and predators at every turn. When Goku comes back, within an hour he’s nearly crippled by Vegeta and needs to rest in the hospital. Krillin then drags Gohan to Namek, nearly getting them and Bulma killed in the process. Goku saved them all from death within seconds of landing, but then had to recuperate again because of Ginyu’s Body Swap. Then he saves everyone again from Frieza and gets thrown to Yardrat during the explosion of Namek. In the main timeline (the one Trunks is from) Goku used Instant Transmission to kill Frieza and King Cold, once again saving his family the instant he realised what was happing. In the DBZ timeline, or the one Trunks came to and saved, Goku sensed Trunks and recognised that he was strong enough to protect the Earth without Goku, though he didn’t know who Trunks was. Flash forward to the Android saga and Goku is dying of a heart virus, which would permanently end Goku because it would count as a natural death. The Cell saga I see everyone use as their first and only point to Goku being a bad father and to that I say it’s more complicated than that. Goku is a lot smarter than he lets himself appear, and his sensory powers are unmatched in the entire DB universe, to the point he can sense someone in a different dimension an entire universe away and know exactly how strong they are relative to himself and the people around him. Goku knew that Gohan was, by far and a way, stronger than Perfect Cell. All Goku needed to do was provide a trigger for Gohan to realise his true strength. Goku was blinded by pride in his son’s strength though and forgot that Gohan despised fighting and that could get Gohan killed. When Cell had the upper hand on Gohan Goku was completely ready to jump in and help, his pride as a warrior be damned that was his *son,* before Cell made the Jr’s to stop the Son’s from obliterating him 2-1. Goku even made the ultimate sacrifice to try and save the people he loved from Cell’s last ditch attempt to destroy Earth, even telling Gohan that he was proud of him. Goku deciding to stay in the Otherworld also wasn’t a bad decision. Goku’s rational was completely correct. 3 problems happened in under 5 years and all of them were connected to Goku himself in some way shape or form. The Saiyan’s were first after him and then the Dragon Balls, the Frieza Force learned about the Namekian Dragon Balls because of this, the Androids were Red Ribbon army after Goku killed almost every last member, literally built with the sole purpose of killing Son Goku. He was right to stay dead honestly. It was safer for his family if he stayed dead, and Gohan was, at the time, the strongest person in the universe (barring Beerus and Whis). Now we move onto Vegeta. Vegeta had Trunks in a one night stand with Bulma, he didn’t even stay long enough to know she was pregnant. When he came back to Earth Trunks had already been born. He missed the birth of his son looking for Goku. He verbally abused Future Trunks and cared nothing for him until Cell killed Trunks. Androids could attempt to murder Trunks and Bulma right in front of him and Vegeta at the time would not have cared in the slightest. Flash forward to the Buu Saga and Vegeta’s having a midlife crisis and avoiding being a father to his son. Vegeta was constantly leaving to do god knows what and refused to do family activities. Even hugging Trunks once or telling him that he’s proud of him was too much affection for Vegeta. It took Trunks going Super Saiyan at 8 for Vegeta to try and bond with Trunks. Goku instantly started bonding with Goten, and he didn’t even know Chichi was pregnant when he died. In Super, they’re both on the same level, but in Z Goku is an exemplary father.

Aside from that though, Kit is a fellow GT and SSJ4 enjoyer and that makes me happy. Although it’s also amusing that his favourite character is (Super) Broly while mine is Gogeta

Cooler has a really sick design bro. I hope he will be canon someday in future somehow

You’d think he’d be relatively easy to write in compared to something like Janemba (you’d have to explain where he was but still). So I’m sure it’ll happen.

I’ve been playing fighterZ since day one (currently on a small break from it) and I literally did not see this video coming

Also a FighterZ player here. I knew Kit has watched at least some dragon ball and was a fan of it, but I never knew just how much he watched. All of dragon ball, including abridged, and likely even knows of that fan-made super saiyan 5. With that said, I’d love to see him play this game. It’s fun, but it’s not getting any updates for at least another few months.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I heard somewhere that Vegeta never claimed the title of “King of all Saiyans” out of respect for his father.

Db FighterZ is probably not only the most enjoyable Dragon Ball Z game I've played in a long time, but also one of the most enjoyable fighting games I've ever played. It's animation is amazing, the characters all feel well balanced, and the detail for each character interaction before, during, and after the fight is a great touch.

33:01 ultimate instinct? Not gonna lie that sounds why cooler than ultra instinct.

I only play the solo stuff, no interest in PvP, and I still stick the game on regularly. Just be aware if you ever plan on buying, DBS Broly is an additional dlc character that you'll have to buy. Based on how the characters feel to play, my top 3 would have to be: Yamcha (seriously!), Beerus, and Hit. Broly is my favourite character of all time though, so I do use him now and again.

May I suggest Lythero’s DBFZ lobby shenanigans series.

You should totally play the game, it is easy to get into for playing. You can go mashing the buttons and you can also get techinical and complicated with it. It has a story mode that features an original character putting all the other ones in an interesting situation. Its nothing mindblowing, but I had fun with it, and fighting with the characters and seeing just how much love the Devs put into making most of the attacks and basic punches look like the original panels of the manga is great.

I just saw the Broly movie today, I really enjoyed it! I had not seen anything Dragon ball related since GT back when I was like in... middle school I think. I'm not super into it but that movie was fantastic, could recommend it to anyone

The purple guy is called Janemba. He was from a Dragon Ball Movie. It wouldve taken place in the story if Vegeta had killed Majin Buu when he exploded. Vegeta and Goku are both dead and there is a demon called Janemba that is twisting the entire reality of the afterlife. Janemba was born out of a mistake. A demon boy was in charge of the soul recycling machine. The boy got careless and the machine exploded and all the evil spilled on top of him forming him into a very dangerous monster. Goku and Vegeta had to learn to fuse to fight him. The movie isnt canon though.

I have 700 hours on this game, first and only fighting game i've played seriously. I don't even play competitive, i just like the fact that you can come up with your own combos. The game is easy to pick up and understand for new players, but has a lot of depth for the hardcore players.

If You happened to enjoy watching Fighterz i recommend giving a watch to Lythero

I mean, to be honest, Yamcha was a big clown with the Bulma thing. Although Bulma is kind of needy and bratty herself, Yamcha is the one who F-ed up by cheating on his Hot, Ultra Filthy Rich Scientist girlfriend with some fangirls that he got from his baseball carrer. Also Bulma blames Yamcha for not trying to reach out in that 1 year of being dead, but idk I wouldnt think talking back to the living would be possible if it was me, and also King Kai its not a cellphone, even if he makes the "hung up" noise when you poke him in the eye lol. Still, wolf fang fist will always be the deadliest technique in the whole series.

Honestly, the game is absolutely great and insanely fun, since you're probably a casual gamer, just play against the computer and have fun, people are extremely sweaty online and the state of competitive play is not the best, but the game for a casual player is really, really complete, a whole bunch of very well made characters (you have to buy most tho, I personally wait for Steam sales) but overall, great game to play alone, and better to play with friends chilling at home smoking some bush and drinkings an iced coke

Also Cooler is not Ice Cold, thats his father ;) Cooler is freezer (and a prick) and Freezer was cooler. About Vegeta's title, its hard to claim himself as King of the Saiyans when the other pure blooded saiyans alive are always surpassing him in strenght. I think 16 would like to have a talk with Super Kami Guru after telling Nail to kick the ass of that one bird that passed by his window

The game is great, my only real complaint was a distinct lack of single player content, and also like half the characters are 5 dollar DLC. Like, 5 dollars per character, and there are a lot of them. If they had made a proper single player story campaign with a high production value, I'd pay extra for that. Instead what we got was a couple different arcade ladders, all pretty decent, and a sorry excuse for a single player campaign that's honestly just absolute trash, and that's it. All the meaty content is centered around the multiplayer and there's also a cool co-op mode that's pretty worth playing. But yeah, the game is worth it, it's fantastic, the production value overall is amazing, the game looks great, it plays great, I wish the netcode was better in multiplayer but it still plays great, it's very VERY complex and deep but also it's easy for beginners to get into. Just an amazing introduction to 2D fighting games for fans of Dragon Ball. Again, better single player, better netcode, and the DLC should definitely be cheaper, those are my complaints.
