It is a little weird, but if you notice in areas like Redcliffe where there's overlapping audio only one of the voices gets subtitles, and then the rest are hard to hear.

Since my Inquisitor is a qunari, I kind of want to hear what happened. Think you could cook up his tale?

Man, I got a really warm feeling from this scene. Everyone is just acting like friends, hanging out and having fun. Very reminiscent of the citadel DLC (which I absolutely loved) and I'm glad that Bioware haven't forgotten where their strength lies. Strong characters with the ability to connect to the player on a real personal level. Little things like this just make Inquisition just that little better, even if it isn't enough to pull it out of the muck. I really do appreciate Bioware for adding this in. :)

After Andromeda I wouldnt be too sure.

There are so many fucking perfect little things about this. my two personal favorites are the Inquisitor doesn't get up and Cullen just like gives her this look and motions his head all "omg please look away, why are you still here" and then fucking Iron Bull waking up just in time to see a naked Cullen running off and being very confused.

...judging from the hints, I think I have the stories down...The Mage Inquisitor showed up to the Harrowing naked (or without pants, something like that) and perhaps encountered a Desire demon, creating an awkward and hilarious Harrowing...The Dalish Inquisitor's clan was being spied on by human hunters, so they turned the tables on them, terrorized them, stole their clothes, and chased them back to their village...Dwarf Inquisitor encountered a badass old seamstress who refused to pay extortion money, and probably ended up fighting a whole gang of Carta thugs (in my mind, I picture explosions and her getting the jump on them like Rambo)...Human Inquisitor probably ended up in the play he was talking about, and turned it into a comedy...the only one I'm stuck on is Qunari Inquisitor. Too many options.

I interpreted the Dalish story a bit differently. The inquisitor mentions that the hunters heard noises in the middle of the night. My guess is that the abandoned fortress was some sort of secret meeting place for two humans who were having an illicit affair. The Dalish hunters stumbled upon them, the humans got scared (some Dalish clans kill humans on sight, so this is understandable), and so the humans ran away without even putting on clothes.

Kinda wish Cullen stood up, saluted and marched out like the recruit in the story he was telling

"More interesting ones." You mean like closing more fade rifts and fighting generic enemy types over and over again. Not to mention there is not a single town or city in the entire game. Val Royeaux is nothing but a shopping complex. Everything outside of the main quests or companion quests is just lifeless, repetitive open world busywork. Where are the NPC's? Where is the role-playing? In Dragon Age Origins, and even Dragon Age 2, almost every single quest in the game had important NPC involvement and actual decision making to be done. It all felt important and interesting. It's a serious problem with the game's pacing. It can take a dozen hours of closing fade rifts just to unlock the next story mission and that just plain sucks. Inquisition is an 80 hour game with about 20-30 hours of solid Dragon Age quality material. The rest is all boring repetitive nonsense that drags the game down. It could have been an amazing sequel with tighter design.

@@EldritchAugur That's pretty unfair considering you do interact with many npcs throughout the game and do quests with and for them. An example would be in the hinterlands alone there is over 20 npcs that give quests and or could potentially be recruited as agents. You did not play the game at all, you probably thought running around doing fade rifts was all there was to the game. And of course there is just not going to be as many people around there are fucking rifts spitting out demons the one thing people are more scared of than darkspawn. You just want a copy and paste origins experience rather than to appreciate the game for what it is.

Inquisitor Adaar: So, my kith was hired for a simple caravan escort in Southern Nevara. Twelve days of walking alongside donkeys and men who smelled like donkeys, across flat nothingness. Now, I'm kind of used to fighting highwaymen. They take one look at the Qunari bodyguard and decide it's their "honor to die". Well, dark cloaks don't exactly blend into any shadows when there aren't any trees or rocks to hide behind. I had to roll my eyes at the rookie mistakes the incoming bandits tried. They did, however, catch me off guard when mid-battle-cry, they all put on masks that looked like rabbits. What was that supposed to do? Add more decoration to the road after we struck them down? Well, no. Turns out, there was a bit of a cantrip hex left on the masks. It disoriented the minds of the people and the donkeys that were still left in the caravan. One of the donkeys even talked and behaved like the leader of the caravan. With no mages on hand to undo the hex, we had to make the decision to continue the escort. Of course, the men and donkeys were tripping over their own legs much more frequently. Took a whole 'nother week to reach our destination and an embarrassing trip to a local enchanter to explain the mess. After all that was taken care of, Shokrakar turned to the donkey and said, "We'll let this go if you will," and walked away. --- Probably not the greatest story for him, but that's what happens when thoughts get written down without editing.

I wonder why Leliana wasn't apart of Wicked Grace... She's got tons of stories.

She doesn't tell stories in this game. I'm extremely disappointed and a little angry about that. In origins, she loves stories far too much to keep them to herself. In this one, you ask her to tell a story, she blows you off and tells you to go look in the library if you want a story...

Thanks for the video. I loved to see how Cullen begged for help to the inquisitor with his eyes only to get it ignored xD Also, if you romance Josephine when playing agains just her and Cullen she'll call you "my love" and say that aparentely you won the entire set, meaning you are the main responsable for Cullen humilliation, either you or you both played together for that.

Can you imagine is Solas was at the table? Inquisitor: Do you have a story Solas? Solas: I do have one that’s really good *fades out* *fades in* Solas: and then I created the Veil and doomed all the Elves to mortality. Everyone else at the table: 🙁☹️😞😠 Solas: Wait…

I love how this whole scene gives all the characters humanity and I found myself feeling somewhat connected to them all.

I died at 8:00 when I looked at Bull XD

This is what makes this game and ones like it feel so real. The characters feel lively and alive and they all have stories to tell, even yours. Bioware did a phenomenal job and it was such a pleasure to play this game.

This is easily one of the most memorable scenes in all of Inquisition, really solidys the family that the Inner circle became, minus Leliana, Vivanne and Sera

Varric actually told the story of the DLC in Dragon age 2: Mark of the Assassin. You can legit play that story if you'd like.

This is one of the best written scenes in any video game I’ve ever played (and I’m old-Pong in ‘78 old). Kudos to the writing team for the character interplay, humor, and feeling of the scene. Bravo.

I love you for uploading all those videos :D And your Inquisitors all look so wonderful, you have a good hand for creating characters :)

This scene makes me want more like it, I love seeing them interact outside of the whole saving-the-world-from-a-crazy-giant-rock-with-skin thing. The almost-family relationships are so cute! ❤

When I had Varric tell his story when I first went through this scene my face lit up like a lightbulb, I thoroughly enjoyed that DLC and it was nice to see it mentioned like legacy. It was especially enjoyable when varric said the exact line I chose for Hawke. I got to relive the DLC all over again.

Blackwall’s laugh is one of those laughs where you wish you were a comedian so you can hear him laugh over and over

Also, Cullen's laugh after Varric's story and Cole's smile just gets me to giggle, anytime. XD

I love how Sera was under the table at the end.😂

Super late to the party, but +10000000 internets for the Steinbeck reference.

I've been a complete bastard my entire playthrough. It's delicious fun. I refused to play the moment I sat down and got up and left. Varric looked shattered. LOL.

It actually sounds like there are multiple inquisitors at the table because the "i got one for you" flows so perfectly into the next story.

Is because of scenes like this that i love BioWare's games. They remind me of how awesome their characters are.

This is my favorite part of the whole game. I love them all interacting at once and wish our frosty mage mistress was there aswell but oh well.

Cole will always be my favorite character..

I think i heard somewhere if Solas WAS at the table he would've won all the rounds. Dunno how true it is but it makes me crack up to think about it XD
